I have heard that you have to use the w a s d keys to control your character. I am not used to that, I'm more used to jumping with the space bar and moving with the arrow keys. Can I change my controls for that and how do you do it? Please answer back

I had the same problem when I first started. And I'm not quite sure.
Maybe go into FH, click 'Esc'>Options>Controls and see if you can switch things around.
But you can always click 'Q' and use your controls to move the direction...

I believe you can go to options and change your controls.

I havent tried it so I'm not to positive.

Yes to all of those.

Go to "Options", and then the "Controls" tab. Change the "Front," "Back," "Left," and "Right" controls to the corresponding arrow keys. (It will automatically change the camera fuctions to W, A, S, and D) Then go to the "Interface" tab, and click "Running Mode" and uncheck that box.

Now you can move with the arrow keys and use the mouse or W, A, S, and D to turn the camera, which is the best way I can think of, for they way you are used to playing.

I don't want to sound grumpy or anything, but if I were you I'd actually just learn how to you the wasd keys instead of the arrow keys. Using the arrow keys gives no real benefit and it's all much easier to control the character and use rest of the commands in general if you use wasd, close to the spacebar for jumping, r/f = up and down in water, shift for walking, changing the cameras and emotes is closer.

Just forcing yourself into using them a couple of times and you will actually like it more, moving might not be easy for a start, but everything else will be instead of tumble around all over the keyboard, if you keep the wasd you will much easier locate keys without needing to lift or actually look.

I never liked using the W A S D keys, but as I started using them more, I can't stand to use the other way anymore. It's so much easier to user the W A S D keys instead of having to change your entire controls to make it easy to use.
