Leaving / I'm leaving :c
« on: December 20, 2016, 10:28:59 pm »
I know I had a few things going on in the game and on the forum. I might stay on the forum, but who knows.

But, I just don't want to do it anymore. I used to love this game, I had so many good memories. But, it's just not the same as it was. I've had many bad experiences with role playing recently. And well I have a future and Feralheart isn't in it. It's a big inspiration for me, as I want to create video games as well. I'm trying to focus a lot of my time towards learning 3d modeling and coding. I'm doing well now. I've even taken a class in school to help.

There's not much else to say really. Again I might stay on the forum, but it's unlikely. And even if so I will be very inactive.

Some of you know me for writing something called the 'Grand book of Feral Heart'. If wanted I can continue it on my Wattpad.

So anyways, goodbye. I will miss a lot of my friends, and some of my memories. But it's time for me to move on.

Sorry for this to come all of the sudden.

Stories / Feraleis Heartis - The grand books of Feral Heart
« on: December 06, 2016, 12:08:13 am »
~Legend tells...~
Legend tells of a story as ancient as time. It started when nothing existed at all, just cold shadows engulfing everything in darkness. The only thing to make a living were particles similar to dust. But one day the particles merged and created balls of light which made the first constellation. It was a wolf feline creature. But it got better, it grew into a creature with all the power in the world. It spread it's power and created the First Masters. But that's only the beginning.

~The beginning~

These are the documents of creation written by Gahathi, and Namarei gods of life.

Me and Namarei have been talking for a long time, thinking about what we want our worlds to be. I can make terrain, she can make life. My first idea was a large cave where the masters will guide new life. She wanted to create a place with shining rocks, crystals she says we'll call them.

I find a space in the darkness, and begin to melt away the cold into water. I create a simple blob of earth. Earth being what we decided to call everything on the planet except the living. I place it into the water and make a stone figure, and steps going to a traveling hole, called portals. Everything inside the portal will be darkness because it has no yet been made.

I Namarei make a few journals about the process of making life in the first area. We're calling it the cave of life. I had been sprouting and creating plants for days, until I've finally found the perfect one to cover every spot of land. It's a small, thin blade-like plant. I sprout it in the dirt and watch it slowly grow as I shed light over it. I crouch down into my creation, my children and tell them how wonderful I am to have made them. Gahathi says its weird to talk to things the way I do, but they're my children, and I must talk and share things with them even if they can't hear. Gahathi created me, he should understand.

Progress has been made on the many islands of Feraleis, we're creating balls of light we're calling stars. They will be the First Masters, Masters of all. They will keep everyone safe. We wonder how many good things will come of our world. The first animals are being spawned now, we're watching over them.

The First Chronicle-Written by Echo

~The first writer~
The First Masters, secondary of the Gods of life, came to us today. We are but a humble pack, new to this new and foreign land. We're supposed to give this to a pup so they can write for a life time. I plan on giving this to my beautiful baby, Echo. Named after his incredible sense of hearing, for only opening his ears.

The pup was supposed to have the first entry in this mighty book of history. But I just couldn't help myself to it. Plus a little backstory behind the great future writer would be nice.

The future writer Echo, is my only borne son. My first son in fact. I hope to have more, but my precious baby is all I need right now. He is calm and quiet, not yippy like some other pups. Some pups, I don't know what it is, but they just love to go yip! Yip! Yip! And it drives me crazy! But not his little pup, he has no voice. Well he has a small one. But if he is to be leader someday he must find it.

Hopefully he makes it to be a leader anyway. A feline group, full of many felines. Lions, tigers, bobcats, you name it, it was probably there. This group is also new, like us. We tried to create peace, but ended up with war. We have battled a lot, or almost battled I should say. But one day we will have an actual battle, and I fear for my dear son's life.

This is my entry to the grand book of Feraleis. Written by mom of Echo, Daraia, Alpha female of this new pack, yet to find a name.

So what do you guys think of this new entry? Feedback is wanted. I want you to be happy in the updates I put out. I may not be able to fix this one,  but I will be able to fix the future updates.

First of all, this contains spoilers. So if you haven't seen it, find it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzQ6gRAEoy0

Seen it? Welcome back.
Okay, let me start with IT'S SO AWESOME! But so sad.

I don't watch a lot of anime. My sister's obsessed with it though, so I hear plenty about it. I wouldn't call this exactly anime, but it's anime styled. Which I find makes it even better. Oh what else can I say other than it's awesome and sad? I would like to here what you think!

Game Discussion / Group idea/opinion thing
« on: November 09, 2016, 01:29:30 am »
Okay, I think this is gonna be long so let me brace myself........

Okay I'm ready, where to start... Okay, so this idea also involves loner and rogue characters (characters not in a group/not involved or not for rp). What would it be like if groups all acknowledged each other. I have a lot of rpless characters, and when I go to other groups 99.99% of them don't care. They don't give a pickle some random rogue is in their territory. Now I'm not trying to stay everyone should territory claim, I'm saying, everyone should be acknowledged.

Think if all groups thought of all groups existing, it would create a lot more realistic drama to make a creative spark in role playing. Example time, in case some people aren't following.

One time, I was in a warrior cats group, and a pack has taken over. I alert the clan OOC, and they don't care at all, they say just ignore them block them. But where's the fun in that?!? All my character had to do in that group was go insane over winter, literally that was it. Nothing should be easy, there should be constant fighting and interactions between groups, from a small cat clan, to big dragon group. We all exist, and all want a chance to rp. Well not all, but think, what if everyday was like FHORD. Everyone was constantly rping with each other, even small new groups. And not to mention all the fights. Living in the wild isn't easy, fights should be happening so much, you can't even count em' in your bios!

If all the groups interacted with each other, and didn't pretened something 'didn't happen'. We would have a much more interesting environment to immerse yourself into. Like mentioned, this includes everyone, rogues, loners, small new groups, big old groups, all species, all sizes, even neons. Yes everyone has the right to decline a rp, but I'm saying this should be rare, or at least uncommon. If you think about it, would an animal with a large family to keep safe, just ignore a freaking pack taking over?!?! Of course you OOC, you should be kind and always not force people to rp, but IC, someone should always be ready to defend themself, or their entire family.

Don't ignore anything that happens, even if it happened outside of the 'main rp'. Seriously, when I was in a pack, a pack came and ambushed me and my friend, we were pups. They took my tail, and when the leader got on, she was like just pretend it didn't happen and remove it. SERIOUSLY! I went through 2 hours of rp, stayed on longer than I should have, I could've gotten in trouble. And you want me to say it never happened? Come on! Where's the fun in that?

I think role playing should be thought of like a book, or a large grand story, with no main characters, just groups. If role plays were a book, and you were in a pack, and another group, cats, badgers, etc whatever. In a book, would that pack just pretend those animals or creatures or robot things didn't exist? Heck no, why bring up things you don't react to. Same with role playing, don't ignore anyone. Try to engage role play with a random person not in a group. Make role play like a grand story, with everyone involved and not ignored, no matter what animal or thing they're. No matter how crazy the group is, engage with others, make role playing in feral heart world wide. Make everyday like FHORD.

Wow this is long, I don't think anyone is going to be able to read through my gibberish. If you do understand I will give you a cookie.

Also, I'd like to see what any of you think, if you understand.

In-Game Roleplay & Group Advertisement / Leg Hugging Army
« on: October 08, 2016, 12:17:18 am »
The Leg Hugging Army
The Leg Hugging army is a big group of many colonies of leg huggers. In this group we like to goof off, and sometimes enjoy a nice roleplay, with all levels of roleplay! If you want to know more about leg huggers themselves go here http://www.feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=58736.0

Timelines and seasons
The current season is spring which is when leg huggers have babies. And each month is two weeks, a season is 6 months in game.

Rules
OOC ruler
1. Please make your character how the species topic says what leg huggers look like. And no manes or items, feathers and whiskers may have an exception though.
2. Please respect the creators of the species, The leg hugger was made by me and someone named S~O~R~R~O~W, and don't try to claim it as your own. Or make a group with it without our permission
3. Don't force your ideas on us, we as creators of the species are fine with what it us, we will consider your idea if we think it fits leg huggers.
4. If you're out hugging legs like leg huggers do and someone doesn't wish to be hugged leaved, don't harass anyone. And don't act like it's the worst thing in the world to be left, we can all be friends here.
5. Don't harass the creators, it doesn't matter what for, just don't.
6. Respect others, respect yourself and the group.
7. No swearing, or gore please. If there is don't heavily describe it, and don't use strong swear words, and don't use it at others.
8. Please don't have a lot of characers, I will allow a maximum of three, and don't ask to make a colony more than one time. 1 person is allowed a total of 1 colony.
9. Please be active, you don't have to be on once a day, but at least 2 times a week

IC rules
1. We don't usually roleplay because we're just a group dedicated to goofing around. But if you do want to have a personality and realistic sets of skills, please base them off of the species information. I'm not saying all leg huggers have to be so friendly and nice, but some of the main things that makes leg huggers, leg huggers, like the body types, I don't mean weight, height, width etc, I mean tails and ears, if it says they have long pointed ears, please use some type of long and pointed ears.
2. We don't require any level of literacy, but we would appreciate that you don't powerplay, auto fight, nor god mode.
3. Don't be overdramatic, bad things can happen but make them realistic and rare, unless it's a child not making it. That is excepted because baby leg huggers commonly die.
4. Obey and follow the Colony Leader
5. If you eat meat, and you aren't in your rapid growth when it can be excepted, then you will be exiled
There wasn't many IC rules because roleplaying is not our main focus.

Hugglings
If you read the species board, you'd know hugglings are baby leg huggers. This section is for people to know if people are needed to play hugglings. And currently hugglings are needed, there are 12 eggs. And if you'd like to be one of them, message me, reply to this topic and we'll start messaging or whispering in game, or find me online in game, my Username is Canis116.

Species / Leg Huggers
« on: October 02, 2016, 11:33:41 pm »
Leg Huggers
Judge them by there name do you? There actually quite the interesting species. So let's dive in to their lives.
Do NOT make without my permission

Basic
Leg huggers are rare and tiny creatures that live in large groups called colonies, they're genderless and asexual. They of course live their life hugging legs. There are two types of Leg Hugger, Colony leaders and normal leg huggers. Colony leaders are bigger in size and can have more eggs than the normal leg hugger, and yes they lay eggs. They also have pouches where the eggs will stay for a month, and when the babies hatch they also stay in their pouches for a month. Leg huggers live 14-16 years while Colony leaders live 16-18 years. Leg huggers also can have a feline body or a canine body, but none the less they're all leg huggers, but canine like leg huggers do not live in colonies with feline like leg huggers

Colonies
Colonies work together, everybody's doing something all hours of the day, whether it be guarding the home base, feeding the young, sick, injured and old, or doing a leg hugging patrol, yes they do leg hugging patrols. The Colony leader will organize which leg huggers do which job through the entire day, the colony leader will also do some responsiblities. Currently there are two colonies, one residing in Kiwimbi beach for felines, and another for canines in Seaside grove.

Reproduction and relationships
Leg huggers may be asexual but they don't split cells to reproduce, they can lay eggs and keep them in their pouch. They will take very good care of their eggs and young, they will constantly feed their child, making sure it is fat and well. This is because leg huggers lay only 1-3 eggs, colony leaders laying 2-5, but it is very common for the egg to either not grow anything, the baby inside is undeveloped, or it dies. Sometimes Colony leaders will eat a child if it is also a colony leader, this is to reduce competition and rivalry, sometimes they will chase the colony leader baby out though, and if it survives it can start a colony, but one colony leader will be picked to be the next colony leader in their current colony. Now, disregarding reproduction and maternal instinct, Leg huggers can have mates, well they call it a bonded pair, because sometimes leg huggers pair up to assure their offspring's survival, and sometime's it's out of pure love that they pair up.

Hugglings
Baby leg huggers are known as hugglings, as they're hyperactive with hugging after they get out of their pouches, hugging adult leg hugger's legs or running off to hug other legs. Hugglings are layed and born in spring. Hugglings are very secretive and introverted, usually having one or no siblings, but with time they become more social like a true leg hugger. Anyway, leg huggers are born rather small, which is often why they stay in a pouch for the first month of their lives and are fed often, when they come out they're hyperactive, especially when they're five months old, that is when they reach rapid growth, they will eat a lot of bugs for protein, sometimes they try to even catch anything in the area, usually lizards or fish, but anything will do for them. The rapid growth will end at a year and 5 months, and they become a mature adult at three years of age, two years is when they start having responsibilities. But colony leader hugglings are slightly different, when a huggling is born a colony leader from the current colony leader, they're born much bigger, still relatively small though. They reach rapid growth at 1 year, and end at 2 years.

Phsyical shape
Leg huggers are very tiny, being the size of a cat, and colony leaders being the size of a lynx or bob cat, in game leg huggers are always below average, and colony leaders are slightly below average, exactly around average, or above. They do have an advantage though, they may be tiny but they have retractable teeth and claws that are 4-8 cms long, 4-5 cms being the most common length. Leg huggers can also be bulky and strong, but the majority of leg huggers are thin, long and swift. Leg huggers also have tall pointed ears, and they can have multiple types of tails, but the most common is the lynx tail.

Diet
Leg huggers may resemble canines and felines, but they actually eat plants and bugs. The only time they eat meat is when the colony leader is eating a colony leader baby that could turn into a future rival, and when hugglings go into rapid growth if they can catch something. And most shockingly they eat blood, mostly at night when they're hugging legs for a long time, this is because they don't get enough food most of the time from hugging too many legs. They will drink a quarter of a liter of blood, and for the first five months of a leg hugger's life they will drink half a liter of blood, if and when they need to drink blood.

Behavior
Leg huggers are very friendly, not making many rivals, the only case they make rivals is competition. Competition being a competition for territory, because sometimes a leg hugger is driven from there home, or they don't have enough resources, when this happens they will go and blunder the nearest colony, or the farthest colony, depending on if they win and the resources the other colony has as well. But yet again they have more allies than anything, except with actual packs and prides, most animals being against them, but that won't stop them. Leg huggers are very caring for their colony, they will feed the sick and injured, or old. They will even sacrifice themselves for members of other colonies, if they're allies. Leg huggers are very much extroverted, maybe not in their first two years, but their third year and beyond they love to socialize and play with others. They love working in groups, if they have a job alone they're often depressed. They have a strong feeling to protect too. They're also not very territorial, unless there is competition, but if not, they like having other prides or packs in the area, it's free legs to hug! But sometimes it's a pack or pride that drives them out

Fur colours
Leg huggers have very interesting colours, they have natural base colours, but their markings are always a neon colour, or a dark color, but the dark colours are unnatural colours, like purple, or green. around the eyes is a natural colour, or sometimes above the eye is black, and below is white. And the underfur is always lighter than the base colour. The nose can be any natural colour, and the tip of their tail is the same as their underfur, or base colour. And they don't have manes, but some hairstyles are aloud, very few though.

In game
This is a species in game, and if you'd like to join, message me, reply on this topic, or whisper me, my in game username is Canis116. It is currently spring and there are eggs at the moment, but we don't need babies as of now, you can still join as an adult, and remember there are two colonies, a canine one in Seaside grove, and a feline one in Kiwimbi beach. Also please no items.

I've been trying to become more active on the forum so I thought I'd post a little art thing. I will try and draw something everyday and post it, that doesn't guarantee there will be something every single day thought, because school is hard. But anyway, first piece of art!

So a while ago, I had stopped playing feral heart because I lost interest, and then there was a new update, which destroyed the game completely for me. I played it once and stopped. But now, I am going to throw away the old memories, and make new ones with the new feral heart.
