Okay, I think this is gonna be long so let me brace myself........
Okay I'm ready, where to start... Okay, so this idea also involves loner and rogue characters (characters not in a group/not involved or not for rp). What would it be like if groups all acknowledged each other. I have a lot of rpless characters, and when I go to other groups 99.99% of them don't care. They don't give a pickle some random rogue is in their territory. Now I'm not trying to stay everyone should territory claim, I'm saying, everyone should be acknowledged.
Think if all groups thought of all groups existing, it would create a lot more realistic drama to make a creative spark in role playing. Example time, in case some people aren't following.
One time, I was in a warrior cats group, and a pack has taken over. I alert the clan OOC, and they don't care at all, they say just ignore them block them. But where's the fun in that?!? All my character had to do in that group was go insane over winter, literally that was it. Nothing should be easy, there should be constant fighting and interactions between groups, from a small cat clan, to big dragon group. We all exist, and all want a chance to rp. Well not all, but think, what if everyday was like FHORD. Everyone was constantly rping with each other, even small new groups. And not to mention all the fights. Living in the wild isn't easy, fights should be happening so much, you can't even count em' in your bios!
If all the groups interacted with each other, and didn't pretened something 'didn't happen'. We would have a much more interesting environment to immerse yourself into. Like mentioned, this includes everyone, rogues, loners, small new groups, big old groups, all species, all sizes, even neons. Yes everyone has the right to decline a rp, but I'm saying this should be rare, or at least uncommon. If you think about it, would an animal with a large family to keep safe, just ignore a freaking pack taking over?!?! Of course you OOC, you should be kind and always not force people to rp, but IC, someone should always be ready to defend themself, or their entire family.
Don't ignore anything that happens, even if it happened outside of the 'main rp'. Seriously, when I was in a pack, a pack came and ambushed me and my friend, we were pups. They took my tail, and when the leader got on, she was like just pretend it didn't happen and remove it. SERIOUSLY! I went through 2 hours of rp, stayed on longer than I should have, I could've gotten in trouble. And you want me to say it never happened? Come on! Where's the fun in that?
I think role playing should be thought of like a book, or a large grand story, with no main characters, just groups. If role plays were a book, and you were in a pack, and another group, cats, badgers, etc whatever. In a book, would that pack just pretend those animals or creatures or robot things didn't exist? Heck no, why bring up things you don't react to. Same with role playing, don't ignore anyone. Try to engage role play with a random person not in a group. Make role play like a grand story, with everyone involved and not ignored, no matter what animal or thing they're. No matter how crazy the group is, engage with others, make role playing in feral heart world wide. Make everyday like FHORD.
Wow this is long, I don't think anyone is going to be able to read through my gibberish. If you do understand I will give you a cookie.
Also, I'd like to see what any of you think, if you understand.
