Welcome to Nevermore! We are a new, active, and custom-species canine RP! Nevermore takes place in a world based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe titled “The Raven”. In this realm after death, souls are reincarnated as Corvum Lupus and are sent on a task to figure out their purpose in their new world.

Swept up by the wings of Valarian, these souls were rescued from damnation and the sins of their past to embark on their own journeys with their second chance. Whether they wish to shed the weight of their sins and move onward to Elysium or traverse the valley of Nevermore for eternity, the decision is left in the hands of the Corvum. The possibilities are endless in a world where they can never truly die.

It has been many years since the first generation of Corvum arrived in the valley and a great divide has separated the souls that call it home. Those who follow in the shadow of their God Valarian are known as the Forgiven and they keep to themselves within Valarian’s Keep; hunted only by those who follow in the shadow of Ardtai. The infinite believe themselves to be the pinnacle of creation in their world, and that nothing needs to change for them because they are perfect. The infinite and the forgiven have been in a tense truce since the third generation began, but will it last?



The Gods

Valarian - Valarian is the creator of Nevermore and the Corvum as a whole. He oversees the entire valley and is known to make trips down to the surface to carry bodies back to the Origin stone when necessary. While some Corvum have seen him many times, others go their entire time in Nevermore without catching a glimpse. Despite his frequent sightings, no one has heard him speak or make a single sound.

Ardtai - Ardtai, during her reign in Nevermore, embodied the darkness. She was the shadow that covered the moon, the abyss that lay beneath the trees during the day, she was everywhere all at once. She was the very first to tempt those into straying from the path of Elysium and is often remembered for fronting the war against Valarian. Since her origin is unknown, many do not know what her goal of the Divide was, whether it was to take the place of Valarian as keeper of Nevermore or to just sow chaos.

In Nevermore we require all guests to verify themselves before they gain access to the rest of our information. This is a simple as acknowledging that you have read and understood our server/rp rules! Guests are welcome to stay in Nevermore as long as they like before they apply or join the rp.

All new members who wish to join the RP must fill out a biography template that will be approved by the staff team. There are a few dice rolls for character creation but we do not use dice rolls in RP and combat encounters unless a member personally wishes to do so.

Characters can be updated through reincarnation cycles to allow for design changes! This also ties into our server shop where upgrades can be purchased for characters.
