User/Password change.
« on: December 21, 2016, 04:29:09 pm »
Hello all!
Seeing as i have seen this question around a ton, during my time on. I figured i would throw the idea out their, again its an idea.. Many in the community have been wanting User and password changes, is their a way during a future update that we could make that a thing?
As for changing the individual's user within game i can see how that would be a tuff nut to crack though. Thank you for reading!

As for the time I've been on the forums, I don't think I've ever read on how to change your password. As I think it has been broken since the new update. The same also goes for many other email related things.

Idk about usernames but they have thought about the password problem, Here's something that should clear a little bit up.

So yeah we got a game update woot!

Now its time for the site to have a bit of an overhaul.

I'm hoping that it wont affect the current access to the game but things don't always go to plan.

As part of this upgrade you may find at times the site might look a little messy.

You will find that during the freezing period to move over you cant post or pm etc.

But the thing that I expect will grind most peoples gears is from now registration is completely disabled.

It will be back new and shiny with fewer activation problems.

So now you've all had the heads up.

DON'T BE AFRAID :D

Raz

What is not working at the moment:

The Registration. This will be temporary while we work on the site.

Password and e-mail recovery systems. We will get around to fixing this problem once we have fixed the Registration and other aspects of the site. This includes the inability to change your password in the game.

Minor text operations, such as the spoiler tag.

These will be fixed in time, so please be patient!

Working on the Registration, putting together mail servers, Reg format

I highlighted the parts I want you to look at. =)
For the sake of my own health and interests, I've left FH and I won't be looking back.

Great! Thanks both! I see it more often from friends, and or old members coming back into the game. Lol, the question came up twice yesterday and I was just curious.

Unfortunately, you can't change your username, both on the forum and in-game. Before the forum update, we used to have an option to change your forum nickname, but the staff had to remove it while the website was updating. The only way to change your username would be to create a new account when the Registration system is fixed and open again. All user's names on the forum have been changed to their game username.

I suggest you to contact a staff member to check if there's anything odd with your account and if it's deleted.
If you still have unanswered questions, feel free to post help threads. :)
