Feral Heart

As the title says, the game is pretty much guaranteed to crash eventually or disconnect me from the server if I've been playing for a while, whether I'm actively playing or afk. Unfortunately, this issue is likely difficult to tackle because there isn't much to go off of.

So, to try & rule some things out: For one thing, I got a new laptop, though it's generally better than my old one. I bought it to handle pretty large games like Ark: Survival Evolved, which it does handle pretty well, so FH should be no problem. I don't really lag in FH at all. I highly doubt my internet should be an issue because it's very fast & the connectivity is fine.

As for the marking textures, I get this strange glitch where either the head, body, or tail will appear completely filled in as the marking color, which it gradually "fixes" as you zoom in. It's always connected to specific markings & affects everyone with said markings, but the markings it happens to do this to changes every time I load up FH. For example, one time everyone with the Leopard body markings will be glitched. The next time I load up, it won't be those specific markings but something else. Oh, and it does the same thing for eye textures, too.

I do have Legendary Markings & Items, & yes they are the updated versions & appear correctly. All of this makes me think it's a general graphics thing, but I'd really love to know how to fix it.

UPDATE: Well, it's actually not doing it now that I've finally decided to get help about it, lmao. If I see it again I will try to get a gif of it so that it's easier to understand what it's doing.

My main concern is the game disconnecting me/crashing me. I've tried to be as diligent as possible so that no one has to ask too many questions.

I know how to use forum BBC just fine, but I seem to get stupidly unlucky with weird issues, it seems. (Or maybe this is normal, don't use the forum too much, tbh, lmao.)

Whenever I try to change the font size, it's fine unless I do things like center some text. Then it doesn't work anymore and you can just see the [/font] at the end of the post. Also, I have a few spoilers in one post and even though I make it so that the font should affect the entire post, it only affects the text above the spoiler. Dunno if that's normal.

Any idea how to fix this? I sort of can't finish my thread in the Character & Roleplay Tutorials until I can figure out what's going on.

Q You don't need perfect grammar! If you type in paragraph form and can be understood, you're pretty solid; just no one-liners.
Q Semi-realistic designs are perfectly fine; any color is accepted as long as it's not neon, but please have hyena ears, a back mane, and a lot of weight to indicate that you are indeed a hyena. Females are always larger than males.
Q It's preferred that you have prior knowledge about hyenas, as many people know little about them/have misconceptions, though this isn't necessary! Hyena Facts characters in the group can give you an outline of how hyenas do their thing, though doing research is recommended.

I wanted to make this thread because I am extremely curious as to how many people actually block/are against it.

Most people I have seen in this game say that they are against blocking which just... I don't understand. I am personally all for blocking because why waste your time on anything that will stress you out? I actually don't end up blocking very much but that's simply because I don't usually get caught up in drama involving myself, or if I do it doesn't bother me at all. Yet I've seen people practically peeing themselves with anger yet they refuse to block the person who is causing them so much stress and making a much bigger situation than needed.

Many users don't even block spammers. Why seriously even bother doing anything more than blocking them? Do you think you'll earn a medal for yelling at them to stop by flooding the chat even more with caps? I actually find the reactions to spam more irritating than the spam itself and I often times end up trying to tell everyone else to just block them. Or I used to, but now I usually just turn off local until it's calmed down.

As for the answers I'd like to hear...

How willing are you to block another user? Why? How do you respond in a situation where you don't block someone?
