Hey, I just got a new laptop, and I was trying to use music mods. Music I've put in the music folder doesn't work, so I figured I'd open it in notepad. Took me a bit, but I found notepad. But, that wont work. Any help?

What music mod is it? There should be instructions in the download or the thread you found the link on.

Are the new songs named the same as the Feralheart ones?

Example:

- plains1.mp3
- plains3.mp3
- caves1.mp3

If they're not then that might be the problem. You'll have to rename them and drag them into the Music folder and replace the existing files.

Well, they're my own songs, I didn't download any mods from someone else. I did rename them to plains1 and caves and such.
But I think the issue was they weren't .mp3 format. I put in notepad .mp4, but instead I got screeching noises. My poor ears.. So, I'm assuming only .mp3 works with FH.

I don't believe .mp4 is an audio file so that would be the issue there.

You can use either .mp3 or .wav to use to produce music in Feralheart.
