Game Help / Issues with my Height Terrain map, causes game to crash :/

So yes, I have recently been having some problems reguarding my height map in the Map Maker...

I am rather displeased as this map was going to be a suprise too :/

So. I have recently created my height for my Arena map, the Alpha works absolutely fine and always "behaves" itself with me XD, but for some reason I can't get the Height map to work.

When I first loaded it it decided to create a HUGE wall along one side of my map (I thought this was due to me not blurring it, so I went round the edges and made sure that puppy was nice and smooth) ...

I have made sure that the Height map is created in gimp in greyscale with measurements of 512x512, have made sure that the name doesn't have spaces and I have also copied and pasted it onto a couple of blank pages and overwrote the file in order to make sure that there weren't any layers...
Now it just chrashes my game... I am not sure what to do, could anyone help me with this please? :/

I only come to the help forums when in desperate need you see, as I do like to try and figure bits out myself XD

Other Mods/Creations / Looking for some items for arena map

Hello there, I've been thinking about creating a map of the arena based upon the 74th Hunger Games from the book "The Hunger Games".

I have quite a few trees already, some rocks, caves and textures I can make myself. However, would any of you know where I might be able to download some items which would aid me in creating the map such as hunting animals or a bow and arrow mesh to sit on the chars back?
Would you also know where I can get a cornucopia mesh to enlarge and change the texture?

Would LOVE for your contributions or help, all is welcome and appreciated! :D

Game Help / Black "splodges" on map mask.

I've created the terrain and mask and followed ALL the instructions on how to create a map, I've made a map of the same size before and have had no problem; I haven't changed the sizes of this map and the height map works PERFECTLY.  :D

It's just as soon as I put the mask in, it just comes up with all these black lines, as if someone's gone "crazy with a paintbrush on canvas".

I don't understand why it is doing this, what should I do? :/

Well... I don't know really how to start, other than by saying that I've only made 2 presets so far (and shall update this topic as often as I can, because presets are just so fun to make)!
