Axeri turned his head and continued forward, heading after the Lead Warrior as his ears stayed alert. As they trekked down the path, a strange scent breezed into Axeri's nostrils, and his paws slowly shuffled to a stop. Raising his head, he shot a brisk glance at Ehud and Samja, before peeling away from the two. His paws carried him over to a grassy area, and one of his paws thumped into something solid. Peering down, surprise lit in his eyes as he noticed a gray body, and he quickly pushed away the long grass, scowling as the figure came into view. A lifeless rabbit was sprawled out on the grass - dried blood splattered onto it. Bending down, Axeri gave a deep sniff, in-hauling the scents as he tried to place them. Turning to the two, he stared at them for a moment, before gesturing to the prey. "I found something suspicious - a dead rabbit. The scents aren't very familiar, but I'm positive something killed it."

Ehud's ear flicked backwards, noticing the footsteps of the wolf behind him had stopped. Halting, he turned around, tipping his head to the side upon realizing AxerI trailed off. "What is it?" He murmured quietly, slowly taking a few steps towards the brute. He perked his ears at the mutilated carcass, leaning down to sniff it. "Odd.. I can't quite distinguish the scent..." He muttered.

Axeri stepped back from the carcass, watching as Ehud bent down to sniff it. His head turned to see Samja sniffing it as well, and a sudden sound interrupted them. Whipping his head onto the direction of the sound, Axeri's lips peeled back to reveal his teeth, his ears flattening as well. "Who's back?" he barked, shooting a glance at Samja, before returning his focus on where the sound had came from.

Ehud

Ehud flinched as a strange sound drifted into his eardrums from nearby. Hackles bristling, he shot his head around, muzzle twitching with a low defensive snarl. His ear swiveled to catch Samja's words. "'They're back'? Care to explain a bit more?" He muttered, not removing his threatening glare from the area where the sound came from. The growl in his throat remained steady, muscles tensed and ready for a possible fight that he rather expected to come soon.

Kimera huffed and looked over at his mate. "Those three are taking awhile, don't you think?" He asked looking towards the direction they went.

Melena lined up all her clay jugs and bowls, and then stepped back to examine her work. How she was thankful no wolf had been hurt lately, she was starting to wish something would happen. She shook her head, her miserable thoughts put aside for productivity. Melena's stomach grumbled, and with surprised, wide eyes she looked over her shoulder at the entrance to her tiny meadow, wondering if there was a group out hunting.

Melena slowly crept out of her healer's place, flickering her ears this way and that, and she sat down just outside the entrance.

Kimera huffed and stood up. He was getting worried now. "Shizu! Simari!" He howled. Two faes came up to him side by side. "Yes?" They asked. "I need you to go search for the hunting party I sent out a while ago." He said. They nodded and bolted out of the camp following their scents.
