"Let's do this."

Hugo waited in the lunch line, impatiently tapping his tray and looking at the clock. The reason for his impatience was written on a post on thhe stage: Prom. Hugo has no date, and he was eager to ask the girls. When it was finally his turn, he took a bit of food. Unlike his old school back in New York, this food wasn't the best. But he tolerated it. After handing the lunch lady two dollars, Hugo sat down at a table. He saw a girl - Callista Henley. Maybe she'd be a good date. But Hugo pushed the Prom Date matter aside, and began to eat the food.

The young adult gave a small nod before moving away from his lunchtable, looking for whichever on he saw first. "Hey," He spoke with a wave, a smile ontop of his face. "Callista, I have a quick question." He hesitated before speaking, wanting to make sure that he was going to receive a positive reaction rather than a negative one. "I know, it's lame and pretty close to prom - but, would you want to go with me?" I am not good at this, am I? He thought.

Her eyes floated around the room, looking at all the different boys there were. "They're all pretty cute," she said quietly to herself, but she knew she wouldn't ever build up the courage to even talk to one of them. Ingi suddenly jumped in surprise as she heard a loud noise in front of her. Her friend, Kevin, stared at her with a small grin.

Ingi huffed angrily, quickly taking a seat on her chair. "Hello, Kevin," she said. Kevin just waved, taking a bite out of a sandwich that she had gotten for lunch. "Daydreamin' again?" she asked. Ingi rolled her eyes, but still nodded. "Yes. No need to make a big deal out of it.
