Arrrrrrr.
...Call me awkward for the fact I could have found a topic with this solution, about 300 pages further probably...[even with the searchbar] But, never seen a thing.
Welp. I find it time to take it back to the top again. Mainly because I'm highly asure this thing is also quite an issue whenever making presets.
I'd consider myself intermediate when it comes to making presets+manes as I never had any big problems with rendering and exporting a preset in game,
but this hella made me slap myself in the face a hundred times.
This is basically the code I add to every mane, just as the default mane is for the game model of both feline and canine. And that we might all know about.
material preset_#_maneMat
{
technique
{
pass
{
cull_hardware none
cull_software none
alpha_rejection greater_equal 128
texture_unit
{
texture preset_#mane.png
}
}
}
}
However, I'm still experiencing this result.
Which makes me think Ruby's, EvilSock's and a few other tutorials about mane fixing didn't really work for me, unfortunately.
As the rest of any mane tutorial is just a tutorial within a general guide how to make a preset, without giving detail if an issue comes up how that person would fix it.
Before I sound like a prejudiciable snob, I do not want give a bad mark to the work these people do. They probably do great!
It appearently just didn't work for me quite well.
If any floof has experience with this. I can use some assistance. I be thankful for everyone who can help out.
-Few details about how I'm working-
Photoshop CC '14.
I make the manes, basically with a shade and some normal colouring.
Locking transparency, saving as .png, giving this the name in de code etc.
Perhaps I may have a wrong way of working in Photoshop.
Maybe I should have put both shade and mask layer to Multiply or locked transparency in order to remove them?
Otherwise it could be the settings I should reset in Photoshop. It couldn't be because I simply work on a Macbook.
[I've done research to that part. Muhaha]
I am totally lost. But as I said, any help is welcome! Thanks in advance.
