Welcome to the official page, or advertisement for Halcyon. We are a dedicated group of creative individuals who have worked hard for your viewing and roleplaying pleasure. Halcyon was created on the aspect of keeping a friendly/family enviroment out of character while keeping a stable, action-packed roleplay in character/in-game. Our many attributes such as dual religon, detailed rituals and practicrs, rankings, and simple dedication to te group separates us from the others. Connection and communication play a huge role in our community. From stunning maps, to unique multi-species characters, we are simply, from my knowledge, like no other.

Multi-SpeciesWe are a multi-species group. No, this isn't an invite for unrealistic, neons.[if you were even considering that, then you didn't read all of our tags at the top!] To keep it short:
We. Love. Diversity. We allow an array of species from cats ,canines and birds of prey, yet we also allow mythical creatures! Our history is based on Ancient Egyptian-Hierarchy[At least the kingdom is.~] so if you want to bring in an animal that represents a god, or a mythos creature, please do!

MatureMany people are scared, or put-off by the word "mature". Despite such, we are far from strict in this group, quite carefree to be truthful. We use the Mature tag to let people know that we do not have a middle school mentality, nor do we like powerplay, godmodding, op characters, and anything in between. We also may feature gore, violence, profound language and possible, but rarely, sexual conduct. We place this warning so people have nothing to complain about when it comes up, we did warn ya!

LiterateAnother term people are put off by. We strive to be a literate group, not meaning we furiously hump a dictionary when roleplaying, more so.. glancing at it. We simply, and hopefully understandably so, would like literate, creative, dedicated members in our group so the overall experience is A1. Please note we accept a range of literacy, the strictest it would be is when applying for staff, or a high ranking.

SitedWe have a site, and if you would like to join, the registry is required. Why so? Well, one, communication and two, our admins worked very hard to make sure it is visually and aesthetically pleasing. We use our site for communication, sharing art, presets, downloads, and holding basic information like our plot, rules, ranks, discord/skype and staff contact information. It's a simple place used for communication outside of FeralHeart.

A plot is an helpful way to get roleplay started, and shape the group itself. Our plot is based around the Rebellion and The Kingdom, an ongoing, seemingly never ending war between the two. Our plot goes over creation, the fall of the creatures, the storm, and how nations formed. You can view it in full here on our site.

Relaxed / FamilyMost feel threatened, or pushed to be on every day with an Active tag, but it's quite frankly the complete opposite. Our most active members should be staff, and high rankings[such as Royals]though, LIFE HAPPENS! Especially with school, jobs and families you cannot be on all the time. As long as you do not join and poof, then you are considered active here. While our dedicated creator advertises for about 11+ hours on weekends, and 3-5 on weekdays, you do not need to be this active, but feel free to come help or role play. When we are not online or role playing, we are typically in the Discord chat talking, or comparing Pokemon among other things. Our mods are just a group of silly friends looking for more friends in the long run!

TaggedBeing tagged is a large component to our group, as we have quite a lot of rankings which can be confusing to the viewer. It's just a way to keep us organized, and keep everyone happy.

MappedWell, we have an almost finished map. Our creator is working very diligently on it to make sure it is 100% perfect. It is required, and if you cannot download it, then we're sorry, but this group may not be for you! ;v;

Preset FriendlySome of our users prefer to have presets, as Fh's in-game creator may not meet their needs. We have a preset creator, willing to take requests!

RealisticWe strive to keep our group literate and realistic, character wise, and visually, but we allow an array of colors and unique markings. If you have questions on what is allowed and what is not, refer to our Character Design section on the site.
