Omg, these presets are too good for words! The colors on all of them are stunning! :D

I love the idea of group ranking! Perhaps the color of a character's name on-screen could even change to reflect their rank within a group?

ex: the "alpha" wolves of a group have red names below their characters, the "beta" wolves have orange, the "delta" have yellow, etc? The group creator would have the power to choose each rank's color and name. Tags added onto the end of names wouldn't be necessary anymore, since you could tell by their color which rank you're dealing with!

I don't remember exactly what the first thing I did was, but I'm pretty sure I made an edgy wolf character, killed them off, then made them a super powerful ghost. All in one day. And then, ofc, I never played them again after that. They're still on my character select page, though. ^^

Other Mods/Creations / Re: Cattails' Domesticated Cat Ears and Tails

woah, hey! (@americantragic from deviantart here!) this is absolutely somethin' else, dude! i'm super excited for that labrador tail replacer, too, i'm not a huge fan of the "wolf tail" that looks a bit more like... a curvaceous lock of hair. legitimately though, amazing work here! i've been trying to get ear/tail replacers working for the last, er, while, to no avail. i'm so glad to see that it is possible, i'm just not skilled enough yet lmao. anyway, this will most likely reinvigorate my desire to actually use the feline model since i don't rp big cats too much. can't wait to see more!

Keep at it, I know you can do it! <3

I learned how to make ears from this tutorial, and as long as you're careful to enter the coding properly, it should work fine!
Sometimes it just doesn't work for seemingly no reason, but that just means you've gotta grab your exporter and try again!

Tails are a little more complicated, but they follow a similar process.
All you have to do is weight paint the vertices so they animate properly with the skeleton, export to XML, then replace the bones section of the XML file before converting to mesh.
Sorry if my explanation isn't that... good. I might try to make a tutorial later, because I don't really want to see this knowledge become some weird hidden secret, and because as far as I know nobody's made a guide for tails yet.

Patch Bug Reports / Re: Bug Reports Submission Thread
« on: July 09, 2019, 09:53:00 pm »
As people before have mentioned, the tufts aren't working properly. They seem to be taking textures from the mane, not the body. If you're using a preset and don't have a mane, you get the stripey yellow gradient or solid white texture (just like you do when missing other preset textures). Even when the tufts do appear to use textures from the body, the tufts still seem to have no shading whatsoever, causing them to appear glow-y in comparison to the body.

If I'm not mistaken, the tails clipping into the ground are caused by the skeleton lengthening without consideration to where the ground is. Changing the walking and idle animations so that the tail is held higher off the ground or adding a tail position emote/slider (this would be super awesome! think of the body language possibilities!) would fix this issue without sacrificing tail length.

I also want to thank you for taking the time to read these reports <3 I can see you're working hard!

Despite the current bugs, I'm excited to see what this new development will lead to in the future ^^ This really does open up a whole new world of possibilities for FH and its community!

New content will always cause new issues at first, but they'll all get fixed in time. Hang in there, everyone.
