to install FeralHeart onto your system without using the bloated PlayOnLinux. Shall we get started?
PART ONE: THE GAME

sudo apt-get install wine64
- Accept anything that it asks and it should be installed or
enter your password
Step 2 - Download the game
- Go onto the downloads page and click "setup". The game will start downloading.
Once downloading. It will appear as an .exe setup file in your downloads.
Step 3 - Install it
- Open up your terminal once again and type "wine"
- Now drag the .exe into the terminal and it will show the location next to "wine"
- Click enter
- The FH install wizard will pop up. Begin installation as normal.
Step 4 - Play the game
- Congratulations. You now how FeralHeart installed on your system. There should be a desktop
icon ready for you to click and play. If not, travel into your "Home" folder and navigate to ".wine"
in there you will fine a C drive folder and that is where you will find the files for FeralHeart including
the application itself.
-Some errors/lag may occur but can be easily fixed within the game
(ie- disabling water reflection and distance)
PART TWO: MODIFICATIONS
So you want to install fancy markings and textures, eh? It's super simple. No WinRar trials required.
Step 1 - Downloading your mod of choice
- Download your mod, texture, etc and watch it appear as a .zip file in your Downloads folder.
- In this example we are downloading a eye texture pack. Inside of it, there is a "Eyes Folder"
Step 2 - Open the .zip by double clicking it
Step 3 - On a separate window navigate to the location of your FeralHeart folder
- Navigate to the Masks folder
Step 4 - Dragging and Dropping, replace all
- Highlight all of the files in the "Eyes" folder and copy and then paste them into the
Masks folder of FeralHeart.
Step 5 - Congratulations!
- Just like in Windows, you have properly installed new textures to FeralHeart!
