What is the size?

As large as you can make it in map maker.
However, making a map as large as possible will give you severe lag.

As Ruby said its unlimited.
Be warned though, if you usually lag a lot then i wouldnt recommend making it larger than 10 000. If the lag is too much your game can crash.
