Giant Mountains popping up.. Please help! D:

Hey there.
So in quite a few of the maps I've downloaded, I've been getting these huge mountains just appearing out of nowhere. But they're in the same place every time I go into the map. They don't show up for anyone else, and the mapmaker definitley didn't put them in.. but I can still see them :c
Does anyone know how to fix this? XP
And help would be very appreciated ^^

Hmm I am not to familiar with map making business but did you try maybe exporting the map again?

They're not my maps- it doesn't seem to happen in mine :s

Sorry I misread. Did you try deleting the file(s) of that map from your exports folder and where ever else they might be and then redownloading it? As I said above I am not too familiar with map making or mappy problems but it's possible some kind of file of yours could be throwing off this other person's map maybe you even misplaced a file. Be sure to follow the "read me" if there is one.

If placing the map files into the Feral Heart "Exports" folder didn't make it work right than try placing the files as so:
FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Music files go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
Then restart the game

Did you ask the map-maker if the mountains were supposed to be there?

Nope, the mapmaker said the mountains definitley weren't there :/
And LordSuragaha- I completely removed all the files from there, and put them in the right folders, but the huge mountain still stays where it is >.<

Could you take a screenshot of the mountains? It could be because you're underneath the map, that's why you see huge mountains.

Try re-exporting the map. I've never encontered this problem before but I hope this helps.

I just got the new map update- the map maker re-exported it and everything with a new look.

That's completely normal.
The map maker will place meshes in the map, it's just where they placed them on the map.
What are meshes?
Meshes are the additional items you find in the map, just like those trees, they're meshes.
