Discussion Board / Re: Do you have a power complex?
« on: November 01, 2016, 09:22:40 pm »
As in a rank of authority controls you or abuses you?

If that's so..I befriended an owner of a really popular RPG game. Like very popular.

They ended up taking advantage of their authority and trying to persuade me into doing things highly illegal that I felt strongly uncomfortable with. But i'm a rather clingy person so I really keep track of my friendships and usually rely off of one friend.  I relied off of this one because we had so much in common, so he knew that because we'd get in fights over him doing idiotic stuff and i'd always be the one to properly confront the situation.

He told me to do something, which I complied, then told me to do it whenever he asked. The next day he yelled at me, called me derogatory and vulgar terms, then used the information to outright expose me.

I could sue him to this day..He could be in prison for a LONG time. But i'm too scared to ever confront the issue publicly.

I'm extremely depressed and have anxiety so the outcome of the situation caused me to lose real friends and connections from family. I got over it in about a year and was forced to be on medication. I definitely had PTSD from it temporarily.

I' m still super clingy.. And I definitely get a stockholm syndrome drive

This happened to me thrice by the way, but this one was more severe.

It's odd how someone behind a computer screen can screw you every way possible.

Oh yeah; I'm real big  on computers and hacking so they totally used  me for that..And other things..

F.A.Q

Q- What is PlayonMac?

A- PlayonMac is an open source software that technically converts window based softwares into mac based softwares. This allows softwares that were originally designed for window compatibility to be converted and configured to run on mac.

Q - Is PlayonMac safe?

A- PlayonMac is reportedly safe. But be aware that what you install on there to be converted is not made by PlayonMac and could be harmful.

Q - Do I need to install PlayonMac?

A - Yes. FeralHeart is originally windows only compatible. In order to install it on Mac you'll need PlayonMac

In order to download Feral Heart, Mac users need to install Feral Heart differently. This process will take an average of 10 to 30 minutes. As you click Download in the upper bar you'll be given two options
Click the small here

After you've done so, you'll be taken to the main Feral Heart guide. If needed, follow the original guide for the installation process. Since this guide is to provide extra information.

First, install xquartz. This isn't necessary since it will automatically install it while downloading PlayonMac.

Afterwards, install PlayonMac by clicking the link circled in red. Playonmac is the main source for being able to run Feral Heart

To know if you've correctly installed it; it looks like so

Double click play on mac and it should like this this

Now, to install feral heart click this link. Don't worry, even though it says PlayonLinux is it the mac file as well.

You should get something like this.  Double click to unzip it

After you unzipped it, it should look like this.

Good, you're almost done!

Run PlayOnMac

Click tools in your upper toolbar, then select run local script

Select next

Select browse

Select downloads and find the FHunix.pol file

Select next

Click Next. This warning is to let you know that this source is not approved nor from PlayonMac personally. That's OK.

Select the small check mark in the bottom left to agree,

Wait for installation

If the loading bar doesn't go farther than 0 while downloading, Force quit and reinstall the FHunix file and restart.

After thats finished, you'll have one more installation step.

Check Full.

And install

To know you successfully installed it, there should be a FeralHeart shortcut like so

If you cannot find it type the search button on your tool bar and type in Feral Heart.

If it's not there re-read and reinstall FH.pol

It will take 2-20 clicks to open.

IF IT REFUSES TO OPEN READ GUIDE II

II - Refuses to open

If your game refuses to open upon first installing it follow this simple guide.

Right click the short cut

Press Open

If it does not open check if your firewall or any anti-viruses are blocking it or comment for further help.

III - Crashing

If your game is consistently crashing and you have NOT installed any add-ons, please comment below the issue.

If you cannot connect to a server because it says "Failed to connect to (    ) server", go here and log in http://feral-heart.com/login/index.php

You will ALWAYS need to have that open in order to play

Game Discussion / Re: Is Feral Heart dying?
« on: October 30, 2016, 01:53:13 pm »
I've been playing since 2011, when the feral heart website chatroom was active, etc. It decreased players around 2014. The update was too late to revive a majority of its players but it's still in stable condition. I remember finding this game again and only 20-40 players were online.

Discussion Board / Re: hey furries i have some questions

@SoulScarredStray
Hopefully I reply correctly.

Thanks for your input. I never correctly understood furries, and assumed it was more for inappropriate uses. I, myself, find enjoyments with animals as well but the comparison to an animal and a cartoony, standing character doesn't make sense to me.
I like how you compared that enjoyment dressing up as one is as equal to cosplayers; since I cosplay a lot.

Most importantly, thank you very much for providing information and personal intake. I never understood furries and thought it was more involved inappropriate desire. I apologize for my assumptions getting the best of me. x)

For those who read this post and the original post. I do not mean to come off as rude! I was curious and thought i'd get answers from here. You all changed my mind of what furries are and the majority who do it for good and how there are stereotypes. Love you all! Hopefully my point came across :) !

Some of us may be furries, but not all of us are. I may be overreacting, but some of us may like being furries or furries while some may not.

The post was directed to those who are furries, not saying all people at FH are furries x)

Discussion Board / hey furries i have some questions
« on: October 26, 2016, 04:17:28 pm »
i see furries everywhere, especially in FH. personally i'm not too fond of those who dress up as animals for personal enjoyment-but you do you. i was just curious on what a furry is and i decided to make questions and hope for some answers. i'm being 100% serious no joke. I personally don't enjoy watching adults wear animal costumes and act cute and fuzzy. Please be aware i'm not attempting to be rude, just stating a personal opinion that can be fixed I suppose; it's just I never personally met a furry despite ones online, and they have some odd...obsessions.

Once again I deeply apologize if I come off too direct or rude.

why do you do it?

when did you find out you were a furry?

don't you find it odd or weird?

why do you find enjoyment out of it?

doesn't humanized animals seem taboo?

do you get judged or harass for being a furry?

isn't is sweaty in there? aren't you riddled with skin tags?

READ BELOW

I am not personally directing this post to anyone, the title clearly says 'Hey Furries', therefore the post is directed to those who are furries. In no way did I mean this as an insult, and you shouldn't take it as an insult in general. I was asking questions for those who are furries because I was curious. I tried my best to NOT come off as rude but I suppose i'll be a little more careful next time. 8)
