~The full moon shone it's harsh light down upon the wild, untamed territories, illuminating both the clear night sky and the seemingly endless land beneath it. A cool breeze swept across the terrains, rustling the low-hanging trees, their branches swaying peacefully above the creatures that they sheltered. A lone shadow glides gracefully through the deep forest's hidden paths, the tread of her pawsteps hidden by the gentle whispers of the wind. The figure stops suddenly, and the feline lifted her thin muzzle to the sky, her maw parted slightly to taste the scents that the wind brought to her carefully. She stayed this way for no more than a moment, frozen and statuelike. As quickly as she had paused, she darts away confidently in another direction. Her thin brown coat danced with the moonlight, and at the same time the strikes in her fur embraced the shadow of the wilderness. Her eerie green optics flashed momentrily as she flicked her gaze quickly to one side to watch a frightend starling fly away in a flurry of feathers, then back to the path before her. Once more she pauses, this time in the center of a small clearing. She padded slowly up to a bush laden with lush red berries, and the feline flicked her tail in satisfaction before settling herself on the cold soil, nipping at the stem of a particularly large clump. The wind pulled at her fur, sending slight chills down her spine, for leaf-bare was soon to be upon them. She lifted a few other clusters with a delicate white paw, examining the hidden withering berries. She had been worried that it would be too late for the plump juniper berries, but it seemed she had come just in time.
