Feral Heart

Leo and Dove were anxouis to hear the story of the cat and human battle again.And DarkSky was ready to tell it."long ago about 3,000 years ago....cats decided that they were sick of humans killing them off and housing them 'till they were plump." DarkSky paused as he always did at this part."But there was but one problem my younger friends.There wasn't enough cats to fight against the humans yet.So the first ever leader.Golden Sky promised that she would gather every cat from all of the forests.And that she would travel to get lions as well as other wild cats to pitch in.So she set off and 5 years later she came back with over 50,000,000 feral cats at her side plus the other 50 in her pride.Not long after had a shapeshifter spied and told the humans.....The humans now had but one advantege...They knew they had to fight.So the cheif and human commander gathered up his army and set out to find the battle grounds,but he was unable to find it due to the fact that Golden Sky had covered up all of the blood and corpses at the battle ground.The commander found himself falling in a hole.And with his leg now broken at the bottem of the hole he had no control over his army.And Golden Sky took the oppertunity and luanched the attack.Only a few humans managed to survive and they fled blind,hurt and sad.Moons later Golden Sky set up a celebration for the feral's victory in battle.Soon after all of them sepereted and took their own places in prides or small clans and some times even a wolf or dog pack.All was well for only 3 humans had lived and all being men they set out and built machinery so that after they had passed some thing would be there to keep their place" Dark Sky smiled andd walked out of the nursery while the kitkittens slept.He headed back to his den to rest as well.There would be more fun to have with his son Leo and his freind Dove in the coming moons while they grew up.  ((to be continued)))

  A large yellow tabby striped LION cub (LOL) walks through a small nursery looking for a tabby she cat kitten.He finds her only after stepping on her tail."LEO YOU IDIOT!" The tabby lion cub just sat down and smiled. "Hey Dove Flight." The she kitten flicked her ears and mewed."I've told you before and so has DarkSky, I HAVE NOT FINISHED MY TRAINING YET." Leo just luaghed and mewed."So?" Dove Flight looked agrivated. "IT means that intill your father finds me a tutor or what ever I CAN NOT GO HUNTING OR ON PATROLS WITH YOU." Leo's ears flicked and he mewed. "Oh...." Dove smiled and spread her toes out and raised the same paw.Leo back rolled. "HEY! DON'T WEB ME!!!" They both went into a playful tussel.A large black maned lion stepped in to the nursery and Leo bumped into the lion's front leg while tussiling.Dove and Leo did what most kittens would do.They scrambled off of each other and mewed at the same time."IT WAS THEIR FAULT!!!" THe black maned lion just smiled and layed down next to Leo and mewed."Hello son." Leo ran up to his dad and pounced him playfully and yowled when he landed in his father's mane and was now lost in it."DAD! I'M LOST!!!" He yowled. The black maned lion just rolled over knocking the dazed cub out of his mane. "There." The lion purred.Dove just curled up and watched from a distance.She was and always had been afraid of the leader.The male lion picked Leo up by the scruff and set him beside Dove.Then layed down beside Leo and asked."Do you two want to hear the story of they human and cat battle?" Both of the young cats got frizzed tails and mwed in reply."YES PLEASE!!!" THey had heard the story plenty of times but wanted to hear it again.   (TO BE CONTINUED IN CHAPTER TWO.)
