How To: Make and Request a Preset

Hello! Want to request a preset for someone else to make, or make one yourself? This is where you need to be then! Please note that I'll only be showing you how to do basic presets, no coded ones sorry D: So anyways, I'll show you how to request one first.

In most Preset Shoppes, people have a form for you to fill out. In case they don't, or you're posting a new thread with a request, here's a good one:

Preset Folder(Yes this can be changed no need to sweat over it):
*Canine or Feline:
*Reference(If none describe THOROUGHLY):
Deadline(If needed):
Other(Put the secret word if one is required):
Now. You say "I don't have a reference!" Well, here is a good place to make your reference. The Doll Divine animal creators are fun and easy to use for characters of all sorts, like canines, felines, dragons, ponies, birds, rats, gryphons, and more!
Okay. Now to learn how to make a simple preset yourself! *Clasps hands* Okay. First of all, you're going to need a program that can use layers, like GIMP or Painttool SAI. A lot of things are free, and if they aren't, you can usually get a 30-day free trial. Photoshop and Fire Alpaca work too. Basically anything with layers. Yes, you can use MS Paint but you won't be able to have a fur texture, so it will be TLK-texture-like. How sad.

Back? Have your program? There's one more thing you might want to get. Myth's Preset References, found here.

Got everything? Great! First, open up your program (I'll be using le GIMP):

Open Myth's Preset Refs (I'll call them MPR for short), and open fhead.jpg:

Now, it's up to you whether you want to make a feline or canine. Remember, "f" means feline and "c" means canine. So scroll to the top, open UV guides, and open your choice: chead or fhead. I'll use fhead. Copy the UV and paste it on the fhead.jpg:

And then add a new layer, so it's like this:

Now, go on the layer UNDER the UV and begin to color:

When you're done coloring your preset, go back to MPR and choose a texture! Remember, "f" textures are for felines and "c" textures are for canines. I'll be using "fhead" because I'm a feline and I'm doing his head. So open it, copy it, and paste it on your colored one. Remember to hide the UV guides!
So now click "layers" and "multiply" and ta-da:

Then export it as preset_(number)head in the FH>>MyPresets>>Preset_(Number). Go in-game and click tools>>preset maker, click the folder you exported it on, and there you go! When your preset is complete, export it from in-game and create your character!
