A shriveling dynasty, a murdered King
Despite being a bountiful wet season in the Pridelands, fear is in the air as the mysterious death of the elder King Muriku is still unsolved. The pride is survived by his only son, the young King Nabazu, a hot-headed male who solves his disputes in any way possible- pure or corrupt.
Some suspect that Nabuzu murdered his only father for the throne, which has some ground. The Elder King was getting too weak to run the Pridelands, and neighboring prides have been getting too friendly with the borders. A King is supposed to defend his territory, but Muriku barely left his den and rallied the Lion Guard to fight instead. The last time the Elder King was ever seen was with his son leaving the Pridelands alone, only for Nabazu to return with his father dead on his back, crying that his father died in the Snake Pits from an unsuspecting ambush of cobras (which is odd, as the bite marks seem much larger than just mere snake bites).
Tensions are high in the Pridelands and there is only one royal blood left alive in the group. Will the lions rally against their last king or help secure the dynasty?
PrideLands is a plotted, mapped, and active TLK roleplay set decades before the events of the Lion King.
