Game Discussion / Loneliness

After since the player count dropped into the double digits it's been more lonely. Entire maps go AFK sometimes!  :-\
I've also been feeling lonely at times too since the entire server/map is AFK, and many of my (old) friends are never on anymore. Sometimes when there are active players, they ignore me anyways. :(

Where are my obscure character species @?

Some of my characrters' species are so obscure to the point where they get mistaken for other animals.
...You think maybe I'm going too obscure?

Anyways, one of my characters is a mongoose. Not just any mongoose however, a giant one! Since she's huge for a mongoose, she's commonly mistaken for a big-cat (Like black panthers).

Game Help / Odd Preset Glitch

This is an odd one.

My character "Star Moon Bear" uses the fluffy mane for her preset. I got it to work by changing the "maneMat" to "maneMat2"
On my screen she looks the way intended. Today, another player downloaded by preset then told me that Star's mane was a missing texture. (by missing texture, as in black and yellow)

Star has traveled all the way to the Gobi Desert to see her cousins, the Gobi bears!

The Gobi Desert can reach the triple digits in the summer time! Unfortunately for Star, it's summertime. Doesn't help that she's super fuzzy either!


Hey, at least the sand's nice and warm though. Kinda like the beach, minus the water...


She hasn't found her cousins yet, so she decides to rest and try tomorrow.


Her good buddy is gonna love to hear about this!

One day I visited the Feralheart site, it said ~46 players. Sad to see, but that's the new normal for now. So, I went to the "play game" tab and logged onto my main account [Oddonelynx]. I decided to play as my bobcat and off I went into the loading screen. "Please don't crash, man" I quietly thought to myself. It didn't! Yay! I loaded into a map, "The Grounds" it said. Sadly empty...=D(
The chat was silent and empty, so I roamed around the map and then I saw something strange... It was a feline character, but a SKELETON! The character was creatively named "Skeleton M" but I didn't see any username attached to it.. I just stared at the strange character both in-game and in real life. Then he turned his head towards me which actually freaked me out. Then did the "Troll Face" emote! Next thing I know, my screen went all black... Then a closeup of the skeleton-feline-character-thing popped up on my screen, and it said "OOGA BOOGA!!!". After that my game crashed and I had nightmares 4 weekz!! D:

1. Once your character's finished roaring/howling their facial expression will reset to the one you set as their default, not the neutral/normal one.

I noticed this when I was messing around in a map I downloaded, once my character [Star the Moon Bear] was done roaring I noticed instead of her face resetting to "Normal/Neutral" like I expected it actually reset to the one I set as her default, which was the ear perk emote. I never noticed this since most of my character's default facial expression was the normal/neutral one.


2. More Default Emote Options

Ever wonder what the default button in game in the emotes section was for? Well, my buddy that's for your default emote. You're not only limited to the ones in the character creator, once you're out of there you can change it to whatevz. Maybe even a custom emote you yourself made!


3. Default expression

Your face resets to the one you set as your default every time you wander into a new room or your character did an action that involved their expression changing like roaring/howling.  [E.G.: Tim the Fossa was doing the lazy smile while walked towards the Grounds Portal, but once he got there his facial expression reset to smiling since that's his default expression.]
