Oh, I apologise for the confusion. Delany belongs to the Wolf pack. I was originally going to make her a hybrid; but I changed my mind at the last minute.]]

Suppose I'll start! <3

-Dhavali-
- Sweet misery engulf me -

Mist seemed to be rolling down into the territory of the Wolves as a number of them stood guard in their glorious safe haven, few ever venturing out for fear of the potential bloodbath which could ensue if they did. The wolves were not strong enough, not yet, and Dhavali knew what the Hybrids were capable of. Never before had one such male witnessed a murder as the one he had witnessed as a child. Nor had he witnessed one such murder again thereafter, but not once did the pain numb, for the event was as vivid as it was on that particular day. Dhavali simply blocked it from his mind most days, but as always, he would suffer in silence. Never fully able to dumb down the horrible feeling within. Some days were better than others, and as it was he would go through the motions of being a complete and utter bastard to those around him. Like he cared. Wait. Who was he kidding, of course he cared. This was his family now, and if they were to win the war against those blasted hybrids, he best get into shape.

As it was, today turned out to be a pretty terrible day, with the usual snarky attitude directed to majority of the members, a few snaps and snarls here and there, plus he had barely gotten any sleep last night and had resorted into taking guard duty. Ha. What a joke he was. Perhaps soon to die of fatigue, ever cold and daunting to all he met. But, with some excitement, or so it could be called. Two hybrids had attacked their patrol, which he had participated in. There were no casualties, but Dhavali was certainly rattled, which increasingly dampened his mood. Something the ashen male would soon have to push out of his mind as large paws carried him across the terrain, quite 'gracefully' for lack of a better would to describe his masculine gait. He was silent, and it appeared as if he was stalking his prey, however, golden eyes were not set on the prize of a hopeful meal, but instead upon Maximus. The resident Alpha Male was one who had managed to weed into the inner workings of Dhavali's very essence and although the younger male refused to say it out loud, but there was a relationship with Maximus who would appear more as a father figure, albeit a one sided feeling, he thought.

The night slowly drew closer as the male approached, ashen visage softening ever so slightly as golden eyes held a hint of respect within, a mere glimmer of what could hide beneath as he paused a small distance from the elder wolf, polite nod of his head giving way in respect of both their positions. With the night came a harsh cold breeze and Dhavali allowed a shiver to run up his spine, hackles raising and fur ruffling to insulate whatever warmth he had within, which was very little. On a normal interaction between wolves, the male would be seen seating himself a look of disinterest plain upon his face. Now he stood attentive in the presence of his Alpha, albeit, leisurely, his shoulders sagged but a touch as his body seemed to relax. "Sir?" The male began, another incline of his head evident. "Sir, our patrol has returned. We were attacked once again by those bastard creatures. Two of them. So far, no casualties, but I do believe they are getting closer to our home." The hybrids were growing bolder by the day, and soon their land would be overrun. They had to act soon.

Normally it would be a scout who would do such reconnaissance missions, but these wolves were built for running more than fighting, and Dhavali often found himself amongst them if he wasn't caught up with his own duties. Such as today, and thank goodness he did. Though he could not match the size of the Hybrids, Dhavali was a sturdy wolf, who knew his way around a fight, and the small patrol was able to push the two beasts back. For now. He sighed, eyeing the obsidian hued Alpha before him, awaiting words of concern to caress ashen ears.

Jessa

The pup romped around the territory, being sure to stay close to the pack just in case she needed help. Jessa didn't have an objective, she just wanted to have some fun before her training really began the following day. She could hear the chatter coming from her pack just a few yards away, she couldn't hear what they were talking about but she really didn't care either. Why would a pup care about adult business? Jessa began to trot away but curiosity got the best of her, She turned around and crept up towards the older wolves. She was soon close enough to hear about an attack while out on a patrol, no casualties. That was all she managed to get before it went silent, so she walked away and back to the pack.

Sorry that it's short, they will get longer once things get rolling)

Maximus

A brown hued wolf sat quietly near his den as his pack moved around their small enclosed camp, some talking and playing, others on guard in case of an attack. Maximus looked up to the sky as it seemed the clouds wouldn't end. It would probably start raining again while most of the pack slept. Maximus wouldn't sleep very much tonight, that much he knew for himself. In the past few weeks there had been more hybrid spotting and one attack, luckily with no casualties. The black-masked wolf looked around, and slowly stood. The scars on his back and hind leg now more visible. Max's first thoughts were to check the stability of the food. The pack had a few hares and a little left over deer they had managed to catch earlier in the week. We'll have to hunt again soon. Max thought to himself as his fur was blown a bit from the wind starting to pick up as the sun started to set on the day's end.

Max stood still like that for a few minutes, a small smile on his face to still see him pack going strong after the recent events. His black ears perked as he noticed one of his warrior coming towards him, Dhavali. He was a quiet wolf, but he was good at what he did. Maximus dipped his head lightly as a greeting to Dhavali, the he spoke. After Dhavali explained that a patrol had been attacked again. A low growl came from the alpha as he got the news. Damn hybrids... tomorrow at dawn send another patrol, let the wolves injured rest and take different scouts." Max said lowly to Dhavali. "But do not engage the hybrids unless absolutely necessary." Max said to the warrior with a small growl, the last thing he would need is a group of hybrids running around his territory causing trouble.

Maximus was quiet for a minute as he watched the main entrance of the enclosed camp. "Dhavali, you'll be off guard duty tonight, you'll assemble a patrol for dawn and lead them." Max said to the warrior and then lightly flicked his tail, Max's yellow-ish eyes still locked on the main entrance.

Bolt

A red-ish wolf sat away from his hybrid pack. Bolt gave out a light growl as he sat down from his recent shoulder wound. He had been in a recent fight with one of his pack mates, while he won the small fight, Bolt managed to receive a decent sized wound on his right shoulder. It would heal quickly but until then, he wouldn't be very useful in fighting.

After a few minutes of cleaning his wound by himself he returned back to the pack center where the loser was still there, licking his wounds. The hybrid snapped at their feet and drove them off a few feet to go clean their wounds alone as he had. Then with one more growl escaping his throat, Bolt went to a near-by rock and laid down next to it and watched the pack as time went by, a little bored from the lack of action. And the lack of blood being spilt on the ground.

Delany

As the temperature began its journey of decrease, day slowly slipped into night. Mist curled in smoke-like trendrils from the maws of the remaining living creatures of the forest as the warm breath from their lungs escaped into the night air. Delany was seated just left of the pack's territory center; an area in which the majority of the Wolves would stay if not on duty. But, these days, everyone was on duty and the open expanse of earth seemed depressingly empty. In fact, Delany was one of the only wolves actually in sight at least time bar a few of the higher-ranked members of the pack that maintained their duties deep inside the territory.

For now, Delany was one of those wolves that was off duty. She lay with her head in her paws, an extremely bored expression on her maw and her body lay outstretched across the dry grass. To most, this would seem like a relaxed position, but every muscle in Lany's body was tense. This, however, was no surprise to her. She had spent weeks, months even, without sleep and without a moment in which she had been at ease. Every shift of the wind, every branch breaking seemed to make even the toughest of the Wolves start.

After at least an hour without movement, the ebony wolf's bones protested as her head snapped up, her eyes following another canine as he went past. Picking up the urgency of his pace, Delany scrambled up and followed from a short distance, her curiosity getting the better of her. She slowed to a halt as Maximus, the Pack's Alpha, came into view and her eyes focused back to the wolf she had been pursuing. Dhavali. His name was Dhavali. Sitting back, she bowed her head as a small greeting to the two, not like they paid any attention to her anyway, and listened into the conversation. Not planning on interrupting, she cocked her head slightly to display her interest as part of the future patrol. She was one of the strongest warriors, despite being female, and many respected her for it. She didn't understand why, though. Normally she just did what she felt was needed.

Renki & Kailani

"Hold your head up, there is a light in the sky. I know you're fed up, but you must try to survive. Each moment is precious, don't let life pass you by. Remain focused. Keep your eye on the prize."

Kailani had been awake most of the day, watching over the pack and seeking any jobs which the alpha may need done or may need help with - however, nothing seemed to be needing done at the moment. That left the femmora rather bored and slightly exhausted from the lack of action which seemed to have happened through out the day. Although she wasn't going to complain. The only action around here now is off of the two rival packs whom often gotten themselves into small fights and arguments, a hunt way even take place now and then. But nothing which struck the Beta with interest. For an hour or so Kai had set herself atop a small rock which was located almost dead in the centre of the camp, this position allowing her to watch over the pack carefully as they went on their daily rounds - but this slightly height added to her allowed her to see off into the forest ahead, able to see whether there was any oncoming danger or not. Like most though today had been relatively quiet, the only things really moving be that of the pack members. And the only action from the forest was the scouts going out and the odd small furred creature or a bird would appear, but for a few seconds before it'd dash off in hope of staying alive. She guessed the day would drag - another one wasted in her opinion.

Where as Renki seemed to have done a little more than his sister. Where she had been lazing most of the day, he had been out and about, venturing a short distance of the forest. Unlike the other wolves he was a lot less social and preferred to do all of his scouting alone - even though he was a warrior, he also made a relatively good lookout. Even if venturing alone wasn't the best idea. However, in a way it might seem so - he was rather hostile and stubborn, which often resulted in a slight lack of intellect when it came to the Hybrids. But then again he wasn't at all dumb, and in stead rather courageous. His bitter words and aggressive behaviour, along with the obvious stubbornness from the male - these traits would often land the male in conflict and fights with the Hybrids, and now and then a pack member if they cease to pick an argument or battle with him. Soon after his patrol started he returned home, hours later another patrol returned. The males eyes rested upon his sister whom was still sat upon a rock not to far away, smiling at her his attentions turned onto the Alpha and the warrior - perking his ears to listen what the male had to say. As the news became clear to the male he let out a snarl, turning towards the wolves whom had been on patrol. Despite the temptation of going out, night was slowly dawning and the Alpha would want them to stay in the territory, although those weren't his intentions he remained in his place for now.
