Before you access it, read this post, it has an easier way of explaining to you what Istaria is and does.

For those of you who enjoy DRAGON based games, this is the one for you. Istaria, a game where you can customize the size of your hatchling, what type of style of scales it has, you can have multiple colours but not too many colours, you can also customize what creature you have; by this I mean that there is MORE than just a dragon.


There is so much to learn and explore in the world of Istaria, meet friends, fly/glide, fight and grow, learn to craft things like armour and make the best claw weapons whether it is poison tipped claws or just basic hard-hitting claws.

Meet other dragons who can teach you the ways to grow and become a recruit of either Helion Clan OR Luron Clan.

You can have the following races(also pictures to show that they look like):

- Gnomes          






- Dryad

- Half Giant          

Each race has many different types of attacks; both melee and magic types. You can have roughly 5 characters maximum on each account you make.

.:NOTE:.
On every account that is created, if you so choose to use the free trial, this only lasts for roughly a month and then you can only freely play as a human. The dragon race has a 24 day trial (roughly 30 days) and then it runs out. You can then either do a new account by using a NEW/DIFFERENT EMAIL and may choose to either use the human for all time free playing OR you can choose to have a dragon then.

Travel in a large world, walk, run and fight where ever you please.

As cool as the game looked initally, I grew bored within my first few hours of playing. I just wasn't into the level grinding and quest going. I didn't know what I was getting into, but the game is a lot more fun once you've dragged a friend along.

Same here .O. I got bored after awhile... I guess I don't like games were you have to level up and complete quests and struff unless it's Poke'mon or something :3.
Glad I decided to use the '14-day-trial' instead of begging my parents to buy it.. xDD

Hahaha yes Blacki, I thought we'd have to BUY the dragon edition and that would be utter rubbish, but it is like a couple of weeks trial. I cannot remember exactly what the days were whether they were 14 days or 24 days. Lol it's all the same to me.

Fishy, I agree with you. The game is alot better when another friend of yours is playing so you have someone to talk to and work out together. When I first started playing the game (not reading most of the instructions) it took me forever to figure out the buttons and how to craft and how it works.

But really the aim of the game is to wander around, talk to other dragons and citizens of Istaria and they can help. I worked it out by spending 7 odd hours running around like a headless chicken.
