It was only a few days ago that Patch 1.1 was released, and now Kov has actually already released a Patch 1.11~
This patch will include the following things:
Random lag from Patch 1.1 gone.
New Emotes.
Go into Esc > Options > Interface and at the bottom there is an option to change the text blinking thing.
Objects in the Map Maker won't glitch anymore, so you won't see objects from your other maps in the one you're working on if you didn't add them.
More bug fixes.
Mods will now give you reasons for when you get banned and kicked, so now you have no excuse for telling us you have no idea why you got banned.
The report button has been removed since it never worked.
Character Bio's will never poof now; what ever changes you make to them will stay.
Your friends list won't glitch over into the blocked list anymore.
Hopefully the new physics fix makes it so your characters will be less likely to fall through rocks.
And a few other things that aren't really noticeable.

Please put up with the random game crashes until tomorrow, they could be caused by the amount of people downloading the patch at once.

I'm really glad to see the game is being worked on. The additions are very nice as well, as small as they may be.

i had the game before and then i just downlaoded the new patch and it isnt working >:( and before the patch it was working fine any suggestions? oh and i tried uninstalling the game then reinstalling it still didnt work so plz help!

Make sure that when you install the patch, you don't install it in a folder INSIDE the original FH folder.
For example: C:\ProgramFiles\FeralHeart\FeralHeart <--- That is installing the patch inside it's own folder inside the regular FH folder. What you want to do is delete that last bit instead. C:\ProgramFiles\FeralHeart\FeralHeart
Note ^ The above is just an example. The location of your FH game folder may be different (this isn't even where mine own is.) Just keep an eye out when you are downloading the patch. Make sure you install it in the original FH folder. Hope that helps :)

Great patch, glad to see my major peeves fixed in this game. c: The lag is gone for me now from the other patch and the game runs smooth again. Thanks Kovu and whichever other staff helped out with this. I'm glad to finally see some updates, even if small ones.

ok what i dont get is that i downloaded 1.11 and i still have major lags (emotes are awsome btw) so i am confused on why you said its not laging any more but it seems to lag more anyway when i am online. same with one of my friends.

Well...i re-installed evrything,and worked!
i created a new char and pressed the buttom to play,but now it dont work anymore... it say "FeralHeart stopped working"

I had finally gotten FH to work after that other patch, and now this patch caused the same problem. "FH has stopped working" and crashes before even making it to the login screen. Sighhhhh.
I'll try reinstalling...again xD;

It's not against the rules, actually there is nothing about multiple accounts in the rules. Staff don't really like it when people spam a ton of accounts, because half of the time peple don't use them and it just clogs up the server. Or they use them to troll and annoy others.
I personally have two, so I can multi-task and watch over both of the roleplays I own at the same time. It comes in handy. Personally have asked a staff member this question via pm not too long ago to double check. (I can quote with screenies if you want- xD)
On another note, I still experience some lag with this new patch- I have trouble running multiple windows anymore, which makes my earlier statement about multi-tasking very hard. Such as keeping an eye on two roleplays at once- or being ingame and having map maker opened in another window. It's.. hard to do now. :c
Does your username have any odd characters like underscores, spaces, hyphens? I've noticed in game certain symbols in usernames and maps have turned into gibberish pixels. The ones I've noticed the most is - and ~
Maybe that has something to do with it?

Have you guys tried removing everything in your old Feral Heart folder even after uninstalling? Sometimes, stuff is still left in there like add-on mods and such. They may be causing your problem.

That doesn't really answer my question. There's a difference between just reinstalling and deleting the entire folder to make a new one. Remove EVERYTHING that has Feral Heart stamped on it, this includes the FH folder in your Program Files, and then try a clean install.
Most of us already have the game working perfectly fine. I'm 99% positive there's nothing wrong with the patch.

I have to make them all over again =( but at least I am back in the game. and thanks everyone for the help and tips on how to get on. I had to use my sister's E-mail. I may end up deleting this one someday and use my other account unless they fix this problem for us.

ok so feral heart was starting to shut down randomly before the start up of play, and i'd hear the music change before it says "feral heart has stopped working" i downloaded the patch but that didnt work. any suggestions?

Mh, I have many of the same problems that are expressed here. However, I don't think some of you understand what the problems are. For me personally: I go to the icon, and double click on it. The box shows up, but as soon as it does, my mouse still shows up normally (like in the desktop) and seconds after I open it, it says: "FeralHeart has stopped responding, Windows is checking to see if it can fix the problem." So yeah, there isn't anything I can really do about it, and it only happened the day after I installed the patch. I have tried to move things around to see if it was anything in the folders that was causing it. Nada. Well, I might try removing the whole folder and reinstalling, but I really don't want to have to redownload every single mesh and remake my maps. -sigh-

You could just move/copy them to a different folder temporarily. Like in the My Documents folder. The try a clean install.

That tis what I did c:. Now.. -memeface- You... What have you done? -3- It totally worked when I moved the whole feral heart folder to Desktop. And also, I tried uninstalling it then, and it said: "Error, FeralHeart version 1.11 was not found, would you like to remove it from the programs list?" Of course I said yes, then I tried to download it. It worked completely. I doubt that this is a solid solution for everyone else's problem, but it worked for me!

ok so i did everything you guys said even installed it again deleting all folders and everything and it still told me that it stopped working and that my computer is going to try to notify me if it can be fixed.. uerm... so. now what.

So, The new Patch is 'FeralHeart Patch' on the Downloads screen? This is a dumb question, I know, but I downloaded that patch a while ago and I still have it on my comp. The patch I still have says V1.09 V1.11. So, the patch was changed, but the name wasn't changed? I don't want to download something I already have again.

according to the Fh loading screen pressing the E button is supposed to let you dash or fly. I went into the flavourText to see if my eyes had deceived me and i actually managed to find it.
13=Press %13% to use your Equip, such as Dash and Fly.
However i already pressed E in the game so it doesnt work just yet so like red said it doesnt do anything yet.

When I try to download the patch, but it says "would you like to save this file?". If i click save, i cant find it or save it into the FH folder. If I click cancle, I cant save it at all. help!

I downloaded the patch onto FH+ but Bonfire doesnt have everything, and I cant get into ficho caverns becuase it says "failed to connect to map server". What went wrong?
edit: I went onto one of my charrs that was in cape, and I cant reach the portal to ficho becuase the ramp isnt there, nor the crystals.
edit: Water mill is also missing objects
edit: Endless Plains is deserted and objects are missing... I need some serious help!

I just got banned for an hour though and I got no reason. I was just sitting there like a loner doing nothing, not saying a thing.
Apparently you're meant to get a reason in this patch. Well I didn't.
I know I'm probably posting this in the wrong thread but it is concerning about the patch i guess. Is this ban a hack?

hmm... I dunno... perhaps there is a hacker who hacked the files from the patch, removed various objects, made Ficho inaccessible, put a block everyone in Endless, and now is going around banning people... I have no idea if a hacker would go that far, but maybe its possible, but most likely its a glitch XD I'm going to see if re-downloading works

-sigh- not a thing. I'm just going to remove the patch so that I can play again XD I think not seeing objects, endless deserted, and ficho unaccesable is to great a price to pay for a couple emotes lol
edit: it is impossible to remove a patch... even if you re-install the game you still have to download the patch... does anyone have ideas on how to remove patches? XD

Note:
n1. FH+ Is not the official FH = The patch was not made for that mod so simba needs to fix around with it in order for it to work properly and all you can do is hang in tight.
n2. There's no hackers on the loose as far as I know but I know for a fact that mac users might get a ban bug since they do not work the same way as regular Windows clients, and this game was made for windows OS.
n3. Do not post about bans in the boards, if you got a problem when it comes to bans and kicks from within the game, take it to an administrator or mod, do not ask to be unbanned on the boards.
n4. This is a news thread, not a help thread, please read the board rules and keep help threads to the help boards etc.
n5. The patch did more than just adding a few emotes, the game patches is not all about sparkles and fun stuff for everyone to use, but also trying to add functions and sort old glitches that has laid around for a long time. If you read the first post you'd probably notice a few things.

All I can suggest is to download it instead of torrenting. The torrenting link doesn't work. Also, if your computer comes up with an error saying "An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file...." I don't know how to fix that.

Hello my name is Dusk Shadowfang and i have downloaded the patch many times....installed it, uninstalled the game and reinstalled i've done everything and the game is saying i need to get the patch...much like it did for FH+ and then i saw that the server went down....please help.

The new patch looks nice, Although I'm not thinking about using the new features such as wings. And It keeps crashing like crazy with all people trying the new wings. I don't see why its so cool but Meh.

I have a question, I have two FH games, for a very important reason. You see, one holds all my map-making, and the other holds my gaming. Unfortunately, my map-making one crashes ever time I try and open it, please someone reply, my map is, well you can say, in danger :'(

I'm not an expert but I would say have you copied all of your map files into the latest version folders?
I believe it's crashing because the other one you're using might be the one that had bugs, although I'm not exactly sure.

The wings are causing a huge crash problem, when will thaty be fixed? Also, how come so many off my "less used" wolves crash all the time? It's very annoying.
