I'll edit my post if I've spotted a horrible annoying typo that eluded me during proof reading; I hate having typos in my text. Even though it's quite a normal and understandable thing, and if the post generally makes sense even with misspelled words, I just don't like having them there. Must have some sort of grammar or literacy OCD...
I try not to do it too much...like make huge changes to a post, especially after it's been posted for a while. I feel like suddenly adding a new point or information on a post in a thread after perhaps a couple of hours since it was posted, kind of makes the new info redundant and not read by people who posted previously. As you probably know, we don't get notifications or anything when someone has edited their post in a thread.

This post was much longer than it should have been... o_o

I do edit, typically to add extra information or to phrase something differently. Sometimes I spot typos, but more often it's simply to add something.

Usually if I find a typo or something. Or just wanna make changes or updates to a journal, bio, or art topic.
