I'm not quite sure if it's a missing file or anything, it just seems like it. Or an incompatible file, I should say. You can first try just keeping the game on there and doing a partial install (downloading FH and selecting the "partial" option when you're installing the game) so that it replaces some of the files, but if that doesn't work, resort to my other instructions please. (:

Personally, I think a lot of them died out with TLK fan culture. Of course, it still exists but it's not nearly as big of a culture as it once was. Plus, FH has seemed to have lost a lot of players. That's what I'd guess, but I would love to see the return of lion prides/lion roleplays as well.

This is very odd. I'm not sure I've seen this happen before, it almost seems like a file may be missing...? The first step I would take (if you haven't already) would be to save all of your mods and animations to a separate folder and completely erase the game. Uninstall from your Control Panel, delete the FH folder if need be, and restart your computer. Then go ahead and redownload/install the game. Don't add any mods- go into the game and try skipping through characters again. If that works, add your mods one by one and check the game between each one so if it crashes after you add a certain mod, you'll know which one and we can narrow it down. If it still doesn't work after redownloading with no mods, we can try something else.

I like the idea of lonely cave becoming a portal map, but I also like there being one map that you can find most everyone in (The Grounds). There aren't many players online at a time to begin with so I also feel like this idea would spread FH kinda thin, like there being only 1-5 players per map. I feel like it would be an awesome idea if the game grew a bit more, cause I would've loved it in the original FH!

No, unconverted animations would crash the game as soon as you tried to log in so it wouldn't be that. Are you saying when you go looking for characters and you click too fast/skip characters it crashes? Or when you actually try to enter the game?

Have her try completely removing the game and redownloading and installing it. It could be a bad download. Is she using mac, windows, or linux?

My day has been pretty relaxing. I changed my sheets today, fed my horses and cows; the usual. Edited my dA page and played FH/sat in TG and just had a pretty regular day. (:

I think this is rad, especially when groups have ranks such as beta/delta, if there could be "group moderators" it would make their power seem more real
