Nitro's Character Bios
My friends might be pleasantly surprised by this. Really. I rarely write bio's, hardly even in game. I guess its about time too XD

Hazel
[/size][/color]
[
Gender: Female
Age: 1 1/2 years
Species: Angelic  Wolf
Mate: None
Family: Fox [Brother]
Allies: Oddball [Best friend owned Silhouette] Kiri, May [Role Model owned by Silhouette]
Enemies:Fang [ Owned by RaivenWings], Sevata [ Owned by Ferretfoo], Revari[ Owned by Silhouette], Bane
Appearance: Hazel is very petite framed, even for a timber wolf. She has a silver base coat and white underfur. She has black stripes, and black facial markings. She also has a orange nose stripe, orange ears and orange speck through out her pelt. She has a black and orange stripe on her tail, and her tail tip is white. She has a distinctly orange mane. These combinations of color makes her rather hard to miss, and she doesn't blend in well, unless she were to hide in a patch of flowers maybe. She has one brown eye, and then the other is a violet color with a star inside the iris of the eye. This is commonly refered as " The mark of heaven", by those who may recognize it. This is what makes her stand out the most, as it can only be placed by an Archangel, and is usually only carried by angels. Very few creatures can recognize it though, usually angels themselves or older demons. Hazel gained the odd eye coloration and the mark as a pup, when a former Archangel by the name of Kiri took her body as a host body. More on that shall be explained later.

Personality: Hazel has always been seen as an oddity.   This led to her having a rather lonely childhood, and kept her from making friends easily. She was seen as crazy, for she would often talk to " The Angel in her head". She isn't and was never crazy though. She is essentially two beings in one. The little wolf who was supposed to be normal, and the archangel that saw a certain strength in her, and so chose her to reside with her.

Hazel is known for being rather naive and trusting. Much to the dismay of Kiri, and her other friends. It was prevalent more when she was younger, but its still a trait that she has yet to lose. She is very open about...well everything. Her emotions, her entire life. Nothing needs to be held back when it comes to Hazel. You could say she wears her heart on her sleeve.

There are many other ways to describe Hazel. She is also very kind, often putting her neck out for others even at great harm to herself. She is generally known to be a cheerful ball of sunshine, with a very can do attitude. Energetic almost to the point of being an exhaustion to those around her, and rarely seen to be sad or mad.

Not to say she doesn't get sad or mad, or hurt. Hazel is far from perfect after all. She has a strict moral compass, that will eventually be one of her biggest failings as much as an accomplishment. There is very little gray area for her. Kiri gave her a mission, to help bring peace, and she takes this job very seriously. She doesn't tolerate those she sees as evil, or unnecessarily cruel. She will often even fight with Oddball about her friends darker tendencies. This will eventually grow into a complete intolerance for things she sees as bad, and not much would be able to change her mind.

She also often times gives off an attitude of being completely unafraid. This is part of her nativity, but also of an idea she has developed that as long as she has Kiri, nothing can kill her. Kiri will always come to the rescue and save the day. Its an inner arrogance that she doesn't even really realize. This arrogance also masks an inner insecurity. The fear that without Kiri, she would be nothing. She acts all brave, and seems to think that she can save the world all by herself sometimes, but as seen when a demon blocked Kiri off from her for a short period of time, she isn't as fearless as she thought. She didn't run away though, or back down. She faced the demon despite her fear.  Thats exactly why Kiri chose her, despite being unremarkable, and secretly afraid, Hazel will always stay and try to do the right thing. Its an inner strength that sets her apart.

Abilities: Telepathic abilities. She can communicate with others telepathically, and look inside there minds, and even attack them She could potentially build dream realms ect [ Note: Just because she has these abilities doesn't mean I god mode with them. Every attack is treated as an attempt, and she is very inexperienced with these abilities, so they have a high chance of not working. ] She also has certain angelic, like angelic fire. All these are a result of Kiri.

History: Hazel was destined to be a normal wolf. She was meant to grow up in a happy pack environment, find a mate, have cubs. Everything you'd expect of your average ordinary creature. That all changed though, because of the decision of Kiri. To understand Hazel's story, you have to understand Kiri's. Kiri was both archangel and mortal in her lifetime, when she died, she chose to reside in the spirit world with her friends, instead of holding a high position in heaven, although she retained some of her powers. Trouble broke out in heaven though. It became corrupted, and disorganized, and in its dissaray, the mortal world was suffering greatly. Kiri, seeing this took it upon herself to leave the spirit world. She couldn't do much good without a physical body though, and so she entered the body of a newborn wolf cub. Hazel.

Whether or not this was for the best or worse is still yet to be determined. Hazel grew up in her pack as an outcast. She was considered crazy, as she would often be seen talking to Kiri. She would describe her as " The angel in my head", and say that Kiri had a special mission for her. She was often ridiculed by those her own age, and even the adults tended to stay away from her. When she was 6 months old, at Kiri's request, she left her home, and came to Feral Heart's. She was told to find the Guardian Wolf, May who had gone into hiding. After hearing all Kiri knew about May, she had begun to idolize her, and see her as a sort of role model, and was all to excited to meet her.

She initially received the same treatment here as at home. Seen as an oddity. She would often times grow lonely, though she always had Kiri as a friend and constant companion. This all changed when she met Oddball though. Oddball was an oddity too, a blue African wild dog, who was a Gaurdian too, though not your average one.  Oddball had a secret though, she was being held prinsoner by a demon by the name of Alpha, who was trying to mold her to her own devices. Hazel helped her escape him though, and the two have been best friends, almost like sisters ever since.

When she reached a year of age, the truth of Kiri came out. Kiri was forced to take full possession of Hazel's body when the young wolf got in over her head. This scared Hazel, and Kiri was forced to explain everything. Including the fact that heaven was after her. They didn't like that Kiri took matters into her own hands. They were forced to go into hiding, and Hazel resurfaced a few months later. She then eventually found the wolf she had been seeking, and idolizing all this time. May. Now that she found the Guardian Wolf, she is all ready to take on the task set before her. She also reunited with her best friend Oddball, though their reunion wasn't entirely happy. She watched her best friend murder her former captor out of cold blood, and had mixed feelings on how she felt about it. On the one hand, she agreed he probably deserved it, on the other, she thought that they should try to be better than him and those like him.

Game Help / Presets won't show
« on: January 08, 2012, 05:41:49 pm »
So, my presets won't show up in game. I'm pretty sure I export them right, and under the right name, and my friends put them in the right folders. I have presets in folder 10,3 and 4, and I've tried to export them from other folders and it still doesn't work. My friend even tried exporting it from her computer (under my name of course) I don't know what else to od, or why it won't work. I can see all my friends presets just fine.

Edit: sorry, I wasn't paying attention and posted this in the wrong form ^^; Could someone move it please?

I though to try and change the rendering from OpenGL to Direct3D9, b ut i find it not in the options. So i tired to do it manually from the ogre.cfg like it said to do in the Big Help thread. Still no luck. To my knowledge, I've done everything I could :/

Voices Of The Sea

Along the shore of the ocean lives 3 clans. ShoreClan, tolerant, ever changing like the tides ,Ridgeclan, rock hard in their tradition, strict, and strong in their ways, inhabit the treacherous  cliffs, and in the swamp is Marshclan, mysterious and allusive, most of the time preferring to keep out of the business of the other two. All very different clans, but all have one goal.

Survival

Updates & Announcements

11/5 The thread is still being worked on, but applications are now open! A Leader for MarshClan is needed, as well as Deputies and Medicine Cats for all three clans.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rules
1. The Golden Rule applies. Treat others how you wanna be treated. This covers most things, and I shouldn't have to type it all out. I will if this becomes a problem though.

2. This RP is strictly literate, meaning use proper grammar, spell to the best of your ability, and NO ONE LINERS. We all know muse gets low at times, but 3 lines isn't to difficult. Be original ,use some description. If you are new to roleplaying, just ask for help, I dont bite, I promise. The catch is you have to be willing to learn. No Powerplaying, no Godmoding.

3. This sort of goes with the rule above, but type in story format. No *Goes to get a drink*. Instead, do something like; Darkpaw went to get a drink. Doesn't that sound much better? Except use more discription than that, remember, no one liners.

4. Names. You guys are gonna hate me for this one.  Human objects cannot be used in  name for warriors, no Inkface, Pencilclaw Ect. no. If a cat wouldn't know what it is, don't use it. Also no celestial names like Sun,Star,Moon.  This is  a major pet peeve of mine. The cats seem to hold the celestial bodies in high respect, so they wouldn't name a cat after them in my mind. Also no dark names, like Twistedclaw,  Bloodnose ect. A mother wouldn't name her kit, whom she gave birth too, a gruesome or horrid name. There is an exception to this rule, if your cat has had a name changing ceremony, but the catch is, I have to approve the reason on why their name has been changed, and it better be a good reason. Kay? Kay. Remember, a warriors name is supposed to describe the cat in some way.

Heres a little helpful guide, made by EbonyCrow

5: Cat colors only, No pink or green cats running around. No extremely odd markings. No powers, unless its accepted for a plot of some sort. No Random prophecies about your cat, unless approved by me. No accessories, collars are allowed, but with a good reason.

6: Rogues are allowed, but the cap for right now is 4, until we get some clan cats.

Rogues  0/4

7: Also, Ages. Another one of my pet peeves is when a 14 moon year old leader or deputy is running around. The only exceptions are those approved by me for possible plots.
Leaders: 28 moons or older
Deputies 25 moons or older
Medicine Cats: 20 moons or older
Warriors:  12 moons or over
Apprentices:  6 moons or over

8. Be Rational. No randomly wandering into another territory or camp fighting, or just doing whatever. If you are found in another territroy other than you own, they have rights to attack you.

9 Most importantly. Have fun!

Warriors Code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
