More space in signature?

I'm not sure I like this current setting for signatures to be honest.

Sure, it's nice to be able to have more characters in the signature when you want to link/colour text etc. But I don't like that you're able to fill your signature with tons of pictures that covers pretty much as much as 2 posts if not more in some cases. Not because I'm one of them, but not everyone have the internet speeds to load the all those pictures right away, and it can get rather annoying having to scroll past pictures more than actual posts.

I personally thing the signature should be for 1 maybe 2 pictures. That's ok. But covering the threads like you're able to now isn't really right.

On some forums you can barly even put any pictures at all. Just some text.

I'd actually want this to go back to privous character limit. It's getting slightly out of hand.

Hm hm. Personally, I put a size limit if I do my own siggy (signatures; which is on gimp and/or scratch for animation) if it's a image. I'll rid one pic (but it isn't that big anyways).

Maybe a size limit for pictures would be good, though. I don't want the page to break because of an oversized picture as a siggy, no less take up space and make the page longer than it actually is (more scrolling down, which is a pain for people who have mousepads on laptops, causes arthritis if repetively used in long periods of time). Size limit on pictures should be good, which is pretty much reinstating what Red just said.

More room would indeed be useful, but then you would have signatures taking up half the page every time someone would respond to a topic. I agree that there should be more space, just not too much of it.
