Just upload a gif file onto a site such as Imgur and put the link in just like you would a normal siggy picture, only be sure to end it in .gif.

You don't have to have an account to use Imgur. Just click the "New Post" button in the top left corner.

While you don't have to, it's recommended you get an account for the image sharing website so you can still keep all your images.
I'll be using imgur for this since I've used it for more than 2 years and it works fine.
Fire, go to the image sharing and find a button that's something like "Add Images".

Then click it and you should get something allowing you to browse your computer for images or links of the image.

Once that's done, you can either click on the image and you'll see links or you'll be linked there immediately.

I used Imgur since it's so easy and quick. It may be different from something like Photo Bucket but idk.

Ello, I think it works different for some people as I don't need to put .gif at the end.

e.g.
As for the link, You can just choose any gifs picture location, I know this isn't the best instructions, But hope it helps c:

Going off of what Twisted said, .gifs and images work the same way. You have to use the
Code: [Select]
[IMG] [/IMG] code and post the .gif's url between. You can get this url by right clicking on the .gif and clicking copy for example. At least- That's what I did. I hope this helps~
