'Blindness' Glitch... to Foliage and Everything!
« on: June 24, 2011, 10:31:43 am »
Okay, does anybody have any tips on my problem?
Here it is:
When I get in-game in FeralHeart (by in-game I mean start it up and see the menu), all I see is the hills of the Watergate or whatever the map is called. No plants. No water.
Then after I log in, on the character selection screen, it's black. The only things I can see are the buttons and my character.
After that, I'll play the game and I'll be running around in blackness with all other people about 40 feet over my head. I can't go to other rooms, and I don't have a home location and can't reset it (as in there is no Bonfire Island or anything).
Is it possible that there's an error in programming that is causing this? Because I even signed up for another account and it's still happening.
Or did they put the patch accidentally under the Game Setup thing?
Or is it because I'm downloading? Because I've torrented it too and it still won't work...
Thanks ahead of time,
woodswolf/WolfoftheWoods

UPDATE... I'm going to try downloading the patch. Might that work?

I believe you are missing files. Save any presets or maps that YOU made.
1. Uninstall FH with the "unins000" located in the FeralHeart folder
2. Delete the FH folder
3. Download "Feral Heart Game Setup" (even if you already have it, download it again)
4. Install that one (make sure its the one you just downloaded)

And get JUST the game setup and it should work.

Hopefully you get it working,

~Ruby   :)

I`m having the same problem, and I tried unstalling/reinstalling 5 times with no luck. do I need to update my video card driver? (even though this is a new computer) or do I need the map pack installed? I`m am at a lost, and I`ve been fighting to get this game to work right for the past 3 days D:

Either your missing files, or it's your graphics. Have you tried switching rendering modes?
(Also, please make your own thread next time :))
