I am a hugehuge fan of cats, both big and small, and also wolves. They are the animals I love the most, but I can't decide which is my favourite yet.
I have a pet cat of my own, her name is Nutmeg. She is much more than just a pet to me though, she is actually a very close friend of mine. I've always had a way with animals, especially cats, and I've always felt very attached to them in a way that I cannot explain. They're almost like my children, I guess. It's a good thing, too, because I don't want children when I'm older. I'd much rather have animals!
Nutmeg is very outgoing and loves to go hunting. Well, more like watching than hunting really. (Thank goodness, there are so many birds that come into our garden.) Her favourite pastime is either sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by, or at the moment, sleeping for hours on end under the radiator in my bedroom. Her favourite toys are Scoubi strings, wrapping paper and plastic bags. When I'm at home she likes to come upstairs and visit me in my bedroom a lot, just to say hello and get some love and attention. She even comes up in the morning to try and coax me out of bed. In fact, just last night the living room door was left open so she came into my room and woke me up at midnight!! I had to try and guide her back downstairs REALLY quietly, but she wouldn't stop purring! xD
So I suppose the cat family would be my favourite kind of animal EVER. I like cats because I think they can sense your emotions and they are just as loyal pets as dogs. I've heard so many stories of real-life cats who have helped their owners through tough times, or who have just been truly amazing companions. They are amazing, as are all animals. <3
