The boy's eyes merely widen slightly at the massive space, but he makes no movement except for walking straight ahead. He had never been inside the castle before, and was sure that his mother had only gone in once - To bear the announcement of her own daughter being given to the dragon. His gaze dropped to the throne, grip on the hilt of his sword tightening as the guards stop, and the Commander moving in front to go down on one knee, giving a swift bow to the Ruler of the Kingdom. Derizon does the same. Even if he knew the Ruler did not approve of his actions, he still held respect for him. He quickly got up, however, when said Ruler walked down from the dais.

Fereda dipped down in a respectful curtsey, holding her skirt out with each hand. She stood up as the Ruler advanced from his throne, his posture tall and proud. For a second, she met his gaze before her eyes averted to the floor in respect. She bit her lower lip, looking up at the Ruler through her lashes.

Derizon raised his head, taking all he could muster up to not step back when The King stood, quite intimidatingly, in front of him, counting the large amount of guards behind and the Commander beside. "I heard you were going after the Diva, yes?" Came the low voice of the Ruler, and Derizon nodded. A sharp, barking laugh came the response. "And you brought a friend." He added, looking over to Fereda. The King hummed for a bit, before turning to the two. "You do realize that it is impossible to save a her, let alone approach the Dragon's den?" he muttered, pacing the ground slightly, a small smirk coming upon his lips. "Your efforts would be wasted. To travel to the other side of the planet, and simply get killed? Maybe not even by the dragon himself, possibly by his Guardian. Or even a random wolf, if you younglings tread on the wrong side." He tapped his chin, smirk widening. "The Diva shall remain with the dragon. Even with both your power combined, everything will go downhill, and sheshall not be saved by a pathetic boy such as you." He spat, gesturing to Dozeric. The boy, in turn, knew that this was goading, but his determination for completing the task interrupted his thoughts. With a yell, Dozeric lashed out with his sword.

Fereda watched for a second as Derizon lunged at the King with his sword. She reached out for his arm and brought it back gently, "it's not worth it." She whispered, so that only he could hear. Her face remained calm and respectful towards the Ruler of the Land, looking him straight in the eye. "Nothing's impossible." She said clearly, arching her eyebrows.

Derizon lowered his sword, breathing through his nose like an angered bull, but otherwise kept silent. He watched as The Ruler smirked, glancing at his commander, who had raised her axe when Derizon moved. "Believe what you will." He muttered to Fereda, smirk moving to a smile. "Do you still so horribly insist on saving the Diva? I promise you wealth if you cancel your quest." He added, knowing full well that it was possible. The boy stubbornly shook his head, however. "I would rather my sibling be away from that wretched dragon, having to play a single instrument everyday until her throat is sore, just to please a beast." He replied, and the king smirked again, gesturing to the Commander. Said commander nodded, yelling a common to the army. Derizon raised his sword when the army took a step forwards, weapons raised once more at the two.

Mezzira hummed, before getting up on her feet. Giving a quiet glance to Falkor, she walked towards the castle, demanding that her curiosity be fulfilled. She shoved her hands into the pockets of her coat, tilting her head as she peered into the windows of the castle, moving a bunch of pale blue hair from her face.

Fereda pulled out her knife from its sheath, her glare directed towards the man that had her bow. She pressed her back against Derizon's, so that no one could sneak up behind them. She held tightly onto the hilt, her knuckles white with the tightness. Her eyes burned furiously, but her expression stayed calm.

"Very well, if you so insist." Was the last words the Ruler spoke before waving a hand and walking away, leaving them with the commander and the guards. The boy nodded slightly to Fereda, and growled when one brave guard leapt forward like a starving wolf. Silently remembering his training, he raised his sword, and with a small battle cry, swung it at the guard. Metal against metal sounded, and soon enough the army, encouraged by that one guard, attacked.

Falkor let out a whine as her human glanced at her, giving her a warning look before pattering towards the castle, which wasn't very far off. Wagging her tail, the canine trotted after her, letting her tongue hang out as she hurried past the busy humans. Too busy to even notice a girl peeking into the castle's windows. The fae muttered to herself, slipping through the bushes. Tail still wagging, Falkor glanced up at the windowsill before balancing herself onto her hind legs and plopping her front paws onto the ledge. Glancing at Mezzira, Falkor watched the men battle as she panted, her tongue still stuck out.

Fereda swung her knife out at the advancing men, making contact with both skin and metal. The man with her bow lunged at her, swinging her bow to meet her cheek. She staggered back, unable to clutch her burning cheek. The man laughed, showing off. Using his arrogance as an advantage, Fereda slid her knife down his arm, causing him to drop her bow. She swiftly bent down and grabbed it, already reaching for an arrow.
