Preset not working?

This is the first preset I have tried to export, yes. I tried a different one earlier, and it worked just fine, but this one is still failing to export.

If possible, could you make the files a zip/rar file, upload them somewhere and send me the link in a pm so I can have a wee look?
Another idea could be to send me your skype user and I'll add ya and it can be sent that way.

Sadly, the creator o the files, Goldchocobo, demands that her preset not be uploaded or redistributed in any way. Aside from that, I'm not quite sure which files you'd want me to send.

Sending all of them, would be the thing you'd need to do. It would give those who you send the files to a much more clearer view of the problem.
However since you do not have permission to reupload the preset, you could always give Ressy the link to the original download, but if not you could screenshot each file (including what inside of the .mat file) and send it to Ressy via PM instead of on the thread.

The post for the presets was here. All the files are set as preset_8, but I changed the StarClan one to preset_1 and then preset_3, but it didn't work. Do you think I should ask the creator about the issue?

If you've changed the file to preset_3, make sure you've also changed that in the .mat file.
Open up the material file in Notepad, and do the following:
Mini Tutorial
Don't forget to also change the preset_8.png files that consist of images of what your preset will look like in-game to preset_1.png files.

I already did that. The preset is entirely functional, but it won't export.
The exporting is failing. That's the problem.

You should have asked me ^^
With the starclan preset, I said in the readme that you will need to have the Outline.Program in your preset folder as well- I ran into the exact same problem when making my Okami preset. export it with the Outline.Program (if you installed it correctly the Outline.Program should be in your materials) in your Preset_1 folder and it should export.

I don't think I understand. By 'outline' do you mean the rim.dds file that came in the package? Because the one I installed does not have a file called 'outline' in it.

ah, yes- I've got three files and got confused. but the Rim.dds into your preset folder that you're using to export and it should export.
