So, I was playing FH and I randomly got kicked out (not unusual for Mac users). Yet, this time, after at least 10 tries, It wouldn't even display the login screen. I re-downloaded FeralHeart after deleting it from Play on Mac, Wine and all my files. I then tried to delete Play on Mac and re-downloading THAT.
When I debug it, it comes up "Unhandled page fault on read access"
PLEASE reply if you even have a guess on how to fix it! I am unable to play without solving this.
Do not suggest these, as I have already tried them:
Re-downloading the game
Reseting my computer
Spamming to open the game/clicking "Run" about a billion times
Messing around in the control pannel for Wine
Not downloading any Mods or Packs
Re-downloading X-Quartz, Wine, Play On Mac, etc..
Looking on the Wine Application Database
Googling for answers (I've wasted at least 2 hours checking anything to do with the matter)
Re-reading the installation instructions for Mac
Changing the security options on my Mac
Do suggest:
A specefic version of Wine needed
Any way possible to fix this, besides the methods listed above
I really want to be back on FH soon, so if you even have a guess, PLEASE tell me!
I've Googled for possilbe replacements for FH, but they're either down for maintenance, inactive, Single Player, Human based or Windows Only (such as the IT servers)
If you have a new game suggestion, please make sure that it is for Mac as well as Windows!
Do not include these in your suggestions for games, as I've already played them or am not interested:
Wolf Quest
Lioden
Animal Jam (I've long since quit)
Any IT servers
Cereal Soup (Server down, currently following it's progress)
Human based games
2d games, or 2d games without character animation and a decent chat system
Forum only RP pages
Fly like a Bird
Transformice/Miceforce/Micegirl/Heromice/etc.. (Quit Miceforce recently)
