Activation Link

A friend of mine is trying to get an account but the activation link isn't working. What should we do?

Due to the weight placed on the servers, registration is open at random times throughout the day, and closed for the rest. While this isn't always the most convenient thing for someone who's trying to make a new account, it will open again in time.

Have your friend check in again here in a little while and it might be open for ya.

He already registered. The link in the activity e-mail had an error 403.

Ohh, I see... My apologies.

An error 403 message basically means that the information was sent appropriately, but the server that sent it is barring the activation.
This is, again, probably a result of the same server issue.
He may have waited too long (after creating an account) to activate the account via email, so I would suggest waiting until registration opens up again, and then re-send the activation email.

If it still gives him trouble while registration is open, I would suggest PM'ing a Mod or Admin about the issue.

Ah... Thank you. He waited to long because I made the account for him. XD I hope it opens again soon... I should of used my e-mail. >.>
