Flying Peeps vs. Non-fliers
« on: March 07, 2018, 03:20:56 am »
Oki, I was thinking something like this-

Non flying characters can be picked up by flying characters if they are half or less than half of the size of the flier. And to be picked up, they have to be in the same party or group, and/or friends. I'd say there could also be an option where they could block a certain person from picking them up, even if they requirements are met.

I dunno if this could happen, but it would sure be cool!

There would be a few problems in achieving this:

1. Friends can be added and people can just spam pick you up.

2. The source code would be needed for this, and the staff do not have the source code.
Attempting to get more active. Enjoy the day!

Cheers!

But then when i trap people in the bone pit in the valley they'd get someone to help them out...  (Would be a good if it could be done :) )

i can only see a lot of problems happening because of this

although the community has 'matured', there's absolutely no way this wouldn't be abused to high heaven. that's not to mention the collisions nightmare and the lag it could cause.
it's just not likely or practical.

I can see people abusing this just to 'troll' people; and like the others have said, collision issues, and the fact that you'd need the source code, which is not available.

Personally I'd just be happy if you flew at e-key speed rather than standard run speed. lol

i have more trust in people than to think picking people up at random would be a problem.  However naive that sounds.

It sounds cool, but there'll be many problems.

- Coding in the game
- Testing does it work
- If there's error going to code again
- Testing
- Repeating until it works

- Trolls..... some of the friends might be trolls...
