Black and Yellow?
« on: October 05, 2011, 09:01:38 pm »
Hi guys. So lets see. I downloaded some beautiful meshes from players. I put the mesh name where it goes and the material name where it goes in the object maker and it comes up.. Well the shape any way. My problem is, is that the texture for all of them is black and yellow... Logic is saying to me that thats not supose to happen. So what have I done wrong? What am I missing?

Thank you!

I don't know too much when it comes to this.

But I'd say the game see them as textureless, hence the black and yellow.

You should make sure you actually enter the correct material name for the meshes, and if you're really sure they are correct, it wouldn't hurt checking the .mat file for the meshes and possibly the textures it wants to use. If the names in the materialfile is written wrong or the actually texture picture is missing, this probably happens.

I could be wrong though.

Black and yellow means the coding is all right, but the game can't find the actual texture picture, or it might be spelled wrong in the coding.
