Anyone else alter their posts a lot?

Whenever I post, I tend to post something, then edit it a bunch of times, fixing things or just adding after-thoughts. Does anyone else do this, or is it just me?

Oh god yes.

I edit my posts all the time, whether I'm adding more information or fixing a fatal typo. I usually am on the forums with my phone, and autocorrect seems to hate slang words such as "yew," "lol," etc, and I notice they have been changed after I post.
Also, (again, stupid phone) when replying on help threads it sometimes doesn't notify me of a new post, so I usually have to edit for repeating information. That can get annoying, especially if there's a large quote.
Even though I can get sick of editing posts, imagine what it would be like without the edit button... O_o

Oh my gosh, without the edit button I'd be a mess. Incomplete sentences, chaotic explanations, typos galore. General post-chaos basically

EDIT: I noticed a few typos in your original post and couldn't help but chuckle, knowing you'd have to go back and edit...a post about editing... LOL

I don't really edit my posts a lot to be honest ;o;
Then again I tend to re-read and check my posts a lot so yush. I only edit them if I made a typo or missed a word and stuff like that

Most definitely. I tend to preview my posts multiple times before posting (usually when I have a longer reply) as Genny said, but once in a while I'll remember there was another point I wanted to add in there.

I read over it twice, then as soon as I post it, find typos my brain ignored during my first two preposting typo-checks. So thanks brain

Normally before I post, I press the Preview option and re-read what I just typed. Thus, not too often do I edit my posts. The only time I do is if I accidentally double-post in which I go back and type somethin' along the lines of, "Whoops. I double-posted. Please pay this particular post no mind."
There's also times when a typo or two may slip my notice or when this occurs, like Ms. Eclipse has stated:

Then there's the rare, "Oh. I have more to add in order to make my point more clear to whomever may be readin' this" occurrence that also causes me to press that edit button.

Haha, yes I also tend to edit my posts sometimes only when I wrote mistakes and stuffs

But now, first I use a 'preview' button before I post something important.

It does happen, quite often I'd say.
As I tend to write and write, not read things through before submitting.
Then realizing I've missed something, worded something or spelled something wrong.
