Those are a little big/much for me personally, but I definitely know some people who would be into those, and I know some people on here would enjoy those too!

Personally, I'm looking for some more casual communities. Not really worried about the specific topic of the forum, but I'd prefer it be pretty open to outsiders and casual fans. Of course I'd want the forum's topic to appeal to me and be something I'd enjoy. I've actually been looking for some pokemon and etc. fandom forums, but most of them seem to either be strictly roleplaying, inactive, or have unfriendly staff. That's why I'm trying to broaden my horizons, haha. Maybe use a forum as an excuse to get into something I've never even really looked at before!

(I wasn't sure if this belonged here or in the "other games" section. This isn't talking about games as much as it is websites, and I've seen posts in this board about websites that aren't FH before, so I figured this was the right board. I tried my best to see if this kinda thread has been done before too, but there are a lot of posts here with the keywords "forum" and "other."  If this thread isn't ok, mods feel free to lock it or move it- I totally understand.)

So after spending a little bit of time stalking and posting on the FH forums, I forgot how much in love I am with forum communities. I've admittedly been lurking on the forums much more than I have been playing the actual game. I recently went to check out some of my old forum communities too, but sadly most of them are dead besides ChickenSmoothie's forums, which are just super big and busy. (Which is definitely nice when I'm feeling it, but not what I want 100% of the time, and so I'm usually constantly stuck refreshing fh.)

I just wanna join some more forum communities, preferably ones that aren't 100% roleplaying based since I'm not nearly that active (however I don't mind if there's a large or even dominating rp section.) Pet games/misc sites are totally fine too as long as they have a pretty decent forum that offers content other than game help or site discussion.

So, do any of you have other forum communities that you really like? Maybe even some that you own? I'd love to hear about them and even possibly join! And hey, even if I don't personally like something, someone else browsing this thread might enjoy it, so don't be afraid to share. ouo

I personally have not seen the video, so it's possible that it's not a well made video or a portion of the dislikes are for that reason and not homophobia. Also, people are more likely to have a negative thing to say about something they dislike than a positive thing about something they like. There are probably people actively adding their negativity in the comments because they feel obligated to, and are angry. Most people who actually like the video wont really say much. I also wouldn't be surprised if somebody linked the video to a large homophobic community to funnel hate. So, because of that, that ratio of likes to dislikes and negative comments to positive ones may may not reflect the yt community. Don't assume the whole community is hateful.

HOWEVER, while yes, these are just opinions being posted, is is SUPER disrespectful to say that somebody shouldn't care for WHATEVER reason that they are being posted. Yes, people are entitled to their own opinions. Yes, I understand I cannot change their opinions. Yes, opinions by themselves are not hurtful. But when people go out of their way to promote negative behavior and negative opinions, it is HURTFUL. People in the lgbt+ community are dying everyday due to homophobia, and I refuse to respect their opinions that people like myself deserve to die. These are not "innocent" opinions, it is hate speech that is ruining peoples lives. So no, I am not going to respect their opinions or ignore what they say. Sorry, just trying to put things into perspective.

Edit: Yeah, I understand that most of the comments are just 12 year olds, or fake accounts, or old people who aren't gonna kill anyone, etc. etc., but in the long run, homophobia is homophobia. People like this are still the people who will bully lgbt+ kids, parents who disrespect their lgbt+ children, people who will spit at or tear gay couples apart in public, and/or people protesting and voting against on equality laws.  And even if not, they will support the people who do and validate them.

Yeah I totally understand haha. While I personally think the character designs look nice, the plot isn't the best in the world. And with how on and off I play it, that's probably a good thing for me lol- if it was super deep I would confuse myself each time I picked it up and forget where the story left off. I like it more for the battling and exploring, honestly. Imo, I still think it's pretty good for a free mmo, but I totally respect your opinion! Everyone has different things they look for in games like this.

I love this game!! I have a castanic warrior named Dominikas that I usually play as, and a high elf named Emil who's class I can't remember ATM haha (I haven't played as him yet as I'm trying to start a group with my friends)
Can't remember what servers I have them on though
It's a super fun game though and I find myself sinking hours into it when I have the time lol
