Hmm, I've gone through everything and have gone to open it but gives me program error and crashes-- any way I can fix this??

Try redownloading / reinstalling the game once more after you fully uninstalled it and see if that works, you might got a missing file in there or something.
Also, try running the game as an administrator.

From what I've seen, heard about those maps, they were a bit 'plain' / 'problematic' especially when users would go out to them and do things that weren't under staff watch. On top of that, there was no way to credit the ones that made the maps as well but with these we know you made the maps / textures I believe , etc.
Maybe someone will come around and include the old maps again, but it'll defeat the purpose / theme of the update. The Grounds is sort of like the old bonfire with all the floofs hanging around and such so try giving these maps a try and let it settle for a bit c:

I know all that. I never said I didn't like the new ones, I just miss the old ones. They may have been plain, but they were part of my childhood. I joined FH on my old account cat40127 when I was 8 in 2011. Besides, if someone made them as custom maps it wouldn't be much of a problem. ^^

Uggggggggggggggggggggggggh. I REALLY don't LIKE this new update. Fincho tunnel, florite plains, bonfire, dream temple (pretty much everything) is different. One of my fav FH characters doesn't look the same. Remember to keep your old version of the game when downloading as well. UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR FAV CHARACTERS TO LOOK UGLY.

Also, where can I download the old (better)  FH version?
