This kept showing up for my friend when she tried logging in through the yellow box to reset her character's home, some of them are stuck in a map. Is there a way to fix this or is it just something that needs to be waited out/hope you're lucky next time?

Welcome to Lynthia

A land of many races, of many cities, towns, and places.
Legend and folklore hang heavily around this land, with many mysteries and discoveries to be made. Lynthia is governed
by a single King who dwells in his Kingdom right at the center, a King that is well loved and respected by his people. In
return for his protection and wisdom, he has aid of all to keep the land safe and in order.
Though the many races are odd indeed, odder still are the ones who possess strange abilities. Yes, people and creatures
born here are sometimes gifted with something special, a technique or ability no other has. Not all can attain this gift, but
even so it isn't uncommon. No two have the same ability, though some may be similar they possess something that
makes them unique. However, something amiss has been going on in the land of Lynthia. Strange disappearances have
been taken place with those who are gifted, gone without a trace. Caution has been issued to those who have powers,
warnings going out to families and friends. The King is doing all he can to find the cause of this tragedy, his soldiers,
knights, and all others who work for him double their patrol of the towns and land to keep those who aren't missing safe
and locating the source of the crime.

Story Thus Far: The expers
(strange creatures that are mindless yet dangerous) were chased away from Zale by The Patrol. Now the small village is
recovering from the catastrophe; the injured now resting at Cylanthia's Brewery while being tended to by Cylanthia
herself and anyone else willing to help, supplies and merchandise being recovered by their owners, and figuring out who
the expers had managed to capture and take away.
Now the morning after the event, Raven and Carina are now about to visit the strange man (Harodir) whom the mage
theorized to be connected with the event though it is not certain or likely. Amber and Noah's own activities are yet to be
known.

Goal in the RP:

Though there is a specific plot line, areas and towns, etc,
this RP is mainly going to be built on the creativity and cooperation of everyone. You're allowed to make your character
into practically anything you want, as long as they follow the guidelines and requirements. Be creative with their history and
personality, give ideas and suggestions of your own of what you think should happen and why. With everyone doing this,
the RP will be more enjoyable for all!

How Money Works

[Coins]

100 cents = Gold Shellings

[Bills]
10 dollars = 100 Sherlings
25 dollars = 250 Sherlings
50 dollars = 500 Sherlings
And so on.

Game Discussion / Leader Characters at the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time
« on: August 29, 2012, 11:39:27 am »
Please Read: I am not 100% sure if this is in the right spot. I placed it here because the situation mostly involves ingame characters but really it could be anywhere in general. Whichever the case, if it is in the wrong spot please tell me so politely and kindly and I will be more than happy to contact a Mod and ask them to move it in it's correct place :3

Warning: This is also somewhat of a rant.

Though I'm partially typing this to let off some steam I am also partially typing this cause I'm curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this other than me.

I'm starting to really dislike other's characters where creators have their past be about filling some important role, half the time as an Alpha when using wolves or leading some fighting squad, anything along those lines. Which really is fine and interesting, it shows how skilled your character can be, but when you're entering them in a pack or even just a group when higher positions have already been filled, don't have them going around like they're better than everyone else.

I don't know, in a pack I'm in currently ingame I've had this happened and even before that I've witnessed it. When someone comes in with a character with apparently some clever past with important events, it's like nails running on a chalkboard with how they use it to develop their character. Seriously, after awhile it's like: "Okay, I get it, something tragic happened to them," or "Yes yes, they were much loved by their pack and very respected, but it doesn't give you the right to dis on me now because I'm holding a higher position than you."

I'm not saying that characters shouldn't have pasts like these at all, but if you are using it don't misuse it and RP it right, not just so you can feel superior to those around you. Seriously, with my character I'm using in this pack she had some stuff happen to her but I'm not going around typing about it, and she's never had a lead role before but nonetheless was a skilled fighter from her first pack. In her second pack, she worked her way into filling a fighting role there, and soon became a personal bodyguard for that Alpha with one other. How did it happen? By hard work, activity, loyalty, responsibility, and discipline. After sometime and other events that had the pack die because of IRL stuff, she moved on to a different pack. There she had another fighting role, and after sometime she became the lead of that group of fighters. No cheats, I along with her worked our way there (and mind it was never intentional, in fact when I made this character I never planned on having her holding any sort of role except a simple fighter). And on top of that, I had another character who got to the Beta position, and is now currently the Alpha (temporary, however, but it still shows the trust and confidence in the character as well as myself).

Now, I am in no way trying to brag. The reason why I'm sharing this is because now and then I seem to come across these "wannabee" characters... And who knows, maybe they really do have the potential to being a leader, but when that specific pack really doesn't need anymore they should take the hint. Sometimes characters like these are fun to RP with because it brings a bit of suspense and the right amount of drama to keep an RP interesting and exciting. But don't get carried away or overdue it! It's not always toward me, either, but others as well, but most of the time when someone has a character that held a high position before entering that pack it's like they're trying to convince everyone they really do earn that specific role or something near it. They show complete disrespect to the ones in current command, ignore orders and do as they please, they're condescending and may even show "pity" because they very likely believe they could of handled a situation much better. And more.

Come on, now, after awhile of dealing with that would you really look forward to RPing with that person? As I've said sometimes it can be fun and interesting but after awhile I really just want to tape their maw (as they're usually wolves) shut and toss them in a river. And if you're the character that's in such a high role, they're basically telling you: fudge you, I can do whatever the heck I want (censored should younger viewers read this), because I so obviously know what I'm doing because I was a mighty ruler back then. Back. Then.

I don't know what time line they're looking at, but it's the present. I didn't earn my rank because I had my character be some kind of awesome, super wolf in the past, I actually worked for it, and if you're really not happy with it well tough luck. If you're character really believes they can do much better and are really as talented as they believe to be, by all means go out there and make the best darn pack you can! Otherwise, my rank, my rules.

Now I don't actually dislike the person behind the character. In fact it's what makes it harder. It seems like to be happening to the ones I really like as a person, but I just really hate their characters. Come on, now, what do they expect my character to do? Let them walk all over her? She already had to remove one of their ranks and that character is now leaving the pack, but there's a second she has to deal with now, too... This time, though, she's just going to be straight forward and if the act continues that character is going to end up going down in ranks instead of up :/
Seriously, you're not going to rise up (if that's what you're really trying to do) by dissing, insulting, and ignoring your superior. The worse part is is that they practically don't have to do anything that would of made them dislike the orders given or the character herself, it's like just for the purpose of having her being higher ranked than them like it's some sort of jealously thing. I REALLY don't want to have to get on my character and feel like I have to compete 24/7 all the time when I just want to relax, after awhile it ISN'T FUN! Just annoying and frustrating to a point where I really do start disliking the person behind the character.

Like I said, I actually worked on getting where all my characters are today. I didn't go sitting for a decent amount of time thinking of a past where there'd be a reason why she'd hold the rank and having experience before then which makes her more reliable for that position. If you don't want to bother putting in the time than don't try at all, and go make your own pack and see how you like being treated that way.

Alright, sorry for that long speech/rant. Has anyone else had something similar, or are you even one of those people who act like your character can do better?

Story Thus Far: ((To be filled as the RP goes))

*Locations in Lynthia

Zale
Rien
Larth
A small town settled in Lynthia Forest, far east of Lynthia Castle. There are only a handful of small dwellings in this place, a rather friendly and welcoming atmosphere hanging about the area. Unlike usual human-made towns and cities, this place is quite in-tune with nature, trees grow freely around the area and animals are never too shy to visit. Elves along with other forest loving-people/creatures like to visit here often. Key places here are the cafe-like inn dubbed simply as Zale's Cafe which is perfect as travelers often stop by, and a building where a woman (age unknown and suspected to be a witch) brews all sorts of potions and concoctions, making the best medicine and remedies in all of Lynthia due to the plentiful of supplies in the forest. The shop is known as "Cylanthia's Brewery".
The largest town in all of Lynthia, practically a city with the constant activity that goes on here and is settled directly south of Lynthia Castle. If you're a party-goer and music lover, this is the place to go. Celebrations, festivals, anything along those lines are always taking place here, it's hardly ever quiet. People like gypsies, entertainers, music players, etc visit here often to make their living before moving on. Key places are the Festive Inn, the famous Theater, and even a place where people just hang out, indoors and outdoors.
The  town was once an ancient city that somewhere in history was abandoned, and lays far in the north/west "corner". Over the years it began collecting dust, cobwebs, and weeds, the houses and buildings cracked and some just falling apart.
However, soon people began living within the abandoned, forsaken homes. These people are usually ones getting away from the law or just have no where else to go, people like thieves, bandits, runaways, etc. Not exactly an honest town but somehow the people who dwell here have established their own rule and mutual respect toward one another to prevent any bloodshed. Still, people living here have to keep a very close eye on the very few belonging they do have should someone try to take it. Larth was a name given to the area at some point for no records have been found to explain what the town once was, and there are many winding trails and pathways throughout the city. Key place here is the Stadium, founded sometime only a little after people started living here again. However, it's location is rather well hidden, and though sounds of fighting and shouting can be heard the maze of the town intensifies the echoing and makes it very difficult to pinpoint.
Lynthia Castle
Skien Mountains
Lynthia Forest
This castle is right smack in the middle of Lynthia, where the King lives to tend to Lynthia's inhabitants needs and keeping all in order. A town also lies at the gates of the castle, bustling with people and full of markets containing exotic items and bazaar foods. You can find all sorts of races here, wither they be locals, visitors, or to see the King. Key places here are the Cropper Fish Inn in the town and the Dungeons in the castle.
The Mountains outline the North of Lynthia like angry giants. Peaks jab into the sky, one particular large one climbing it's way up until it disappears in the clouds. The mountain contains many secrets though equally as many dangers. If only going for a simple hike it's highly advised you only climb the shorter of the peaks to the west and east and only near the edge, any further is practically life threatening. Not only do travelers or passerby's have to be careful not to get lost in it's many caverns, fine shelter during the night and stay warm, avoid rockfalls or sudden drop offs, but they have to ever keep a vigilant eye out on the many inhabitants that hang around, ranging from the common mountain lion to trolls.
Though safer than the mountains, it's only slightly. It's highly advise you never travel alone unless well skilled and experienced, or capable of defending yourself. If you are alone and lack fighting skills, remain to the roads that cut through the forest and never head into the trees where the danger lies. During the day you'll most likely be okay, but it's when night falls that unwanted company comes lurking out, such as specters. The Patrol (a fairly large pack of wolves able to speak Common Language that are allied with the King) can at times be seen now and then, as they keep the forest safe and at peace, protecting and saving travelers passing through. If caught in a tight fix, you're best chance is calling out for help or sending some sort of sign and very likely one of the "group sentries" of The Patrol will find you.
Elare
Thwore
The Dragon City
The hidden city of the Elves. Though they themselves have many dwellings and places to call home, this one is the most well known and "famous" for it's beauty and design. As far as the elves know, anyway, for only they and they alone are allowed here. No half-breeds, humans, dwarfs, etc are permitted to enter this sanctuary of the elves. The place is very well hidden in Lynthia Forest, away from unwanted eyes and located somewhere where no one can reach even accidentally. The only way to get here is if you are a fellow elf, or for some reason an elf takes you to this place.
Very like the city of Elare but for Dwarf's. This city is located somewhere deep in the Skien Mountains, hidden to all but the dwarf's themselves obviously. Here the dwarfs work hard on their craftsmanship for themselves and to trade, though you can often find them walking about the mountain either searching for supplies or simply going out for a walk. However, NEVER try following them back to their city because you will be led astray. The dwarfs are too clever to be tricked, and to be safe they take many winding trails of the mountain before making their way to Thwore to shake off any followers.
Not a lot is known about this place, but that's mainly because it's based solely on rumor and folklore alone. No one really knows for sure if it exists or not and there have been many debates about it, but all do know that if it really did exist it was somewhere on top of the peaks of Skien Mountain, most likely the largest one in the center. Though with the high altitudes, no one can go investigate unless they were dragons themselves. It was said that a traveler has attempted to climb the mountains, and of course no one had heard from them since. Wither it's because some tragedy befell them or they did find the city and didn't want to return, or kept there, no one knows.

~These are mostly just the basic layout of Lynthia. Anyone is allowed to add to it, in this RP we're helping to make Lynthia grow, be as creative as you want! If you want to include a city or town, just say so and perhaps it can work out! Just keep within reason and your city/town will very likely be accepted.~

The RP Laws

1) No powerplaying, godmoding, Mary-suing/Gary-stuing, etc,
2) When posting one must be literate. A minimum of three-to-five sentences is at least required to pass as a suitable
post, but this doesn't mean you are allowed to only make that number of sentences each time you reply. Your posts
need to be detailed, with proper punctuation and spelling, no text-talk or anything of the like what so ever. A few
mistakes here and there are alright but "nutin lik dis". Another no-no is: He woke up. Tired, he slipped into the kitchen.
There he made a bowl of cereal.
Not at all acceptable, it's three sentences but it's poorly descriptive. Members will be
able to respond to your posts more properly if they have more to work with and get to know your character better.
3) Hate the character, not the RPer. Remember, it's only an RP, nothing in it is real.
4) Be creative! Copy-cats are a hatred of mine with a passion, when making a character I do not wish to see a remake of
a favorite character from a TV show, movie, etc, or a copy of someone else's character. Try imagining your designing a
character for a book, make the character special in their own way, go nuts! But be reasonable, too, I don't want to see a
rainbow colored monkey. The character doesn't have to be 100% of pure creativeness, but make them rememberable.
Same goes with posts, don't copy off from others.
5) Use brackets of either "()" or "[]" when speaking OOC (Out Of Character).
6) Be active. This is very important for an RP. Don't make a form if you're only planning on replying for like once a week.
Posts and replies have to be daily, at least aim for a post once a day. You'll be given three days tops to make a post,
otherwise the RP will be moved on without you. If you still haven't posted after three days with no notice, your
character will be temporarily moved from the RP. If you still don't post or return, your character will be permanently
removed. We'll still have their form up, but after a reasonable amount of time they will be deleted to make room for
more characters and will be presumed dead (only presumed, mind) or left for some reason. If you return, you are free to
come back with the same character, but you'll have to RP their return and with an explanation of their absence if one
  hadn't been provided already.
7) Be patient. Not everyone is able to sit in front of a computer all day to post right after someone else does. There are a
lot more important things than to just RP. Though activity is important, if you're busy or have other things going on you
won't be in trouble for it. I also do not want to come see a page or so filled with posts only from two people, this is not
acceptable. I appreciate the activity, but those who aren't able to stay on for as long do not was to come back and see
they have to read at least a page of RP to catch up, which normally is annoying. After about two or three posts from
each member, wait! Again members have at least three days tops to make a post. Also, do not have your character
interact with someone and leave before giving them the chance to respond because you're bored. Not only is it rude but
  it's very annoying.
8 ) I wish to avoid an all male or female RP. I want to see as close of an even number of both genders as possible, it
doesn't have to be precise like four males and four females but I don't want to see five females and only two males. If
you happen to see more of one gender, if you can try aiming to RP the other gender unless you possibly cannot.
Otherwise, depending, accepting your character could be put on hold.
9) Put "I like cookies" somewhere in your form as proof you have read the rules.
10) The rules must be followed, do not break out in fights or arguments through the RP. If there is a disagreement,
please solve the problem sensibly and reasonably. Yelling and insulting one another isn't going to get anyone
anywhere. For instance, if there was something you didn't like in someone's post, point it out politely. If you happen to
be the one whose post someone doesn't approve of, don't just blow them off and act like you can do whatever you
want, hear them out, and perhaps you both can come to an agreement.
11) Make sure to include everyone in the RP, this doesn't necessarily mean you have to include everyone in one post but
take care to not let anyone feel left out, like ignoring comments or reactions.
12) With the rule above in mind, actually make an effort in getting your character involved. Don't have them stand idly by
and let everyone else do all the work, or have them be in the "emo corner" feeling sorry for themselves and depressed
all the time. That's not fun at all. Even if your character is shy, timid, or just plain unsocial there are still ways to get
them involved, I've had plenty of characters along those lines and still managed to have them to interact with
  everyone.
13) There is a specific plot-line this RP follows, but don't let that discourage you from adding in your own ideas. Be
creative, if you have something that may be fun to try out, suggest it and perhaps it could be done. This RP needs the
help and cooperation of everyone in it, so it'll be enjoyable for all. Don't make everyone else do all the work. That in
mind, don't be an attention seeker. Don't have things happen to you just for the sake of wanting pity or attention from
the others. Also keep in mind the timing, if something is already going on don't have something else take place. It gets
annoying when there's too many going on at once to take care of.
14) Keep everything PG to PG-13ish. Fighting can occur here and though I do not mind there being blood or a
few rather gruesome wounds, I do not want to see guts and gore. Same with Romance, it's allowed but don't get
carried away like having your characters constantly making out.
15) No two people can have the same abilities/powers, no copy cats please.
16) Creatures such as werewolves, vampires, people with cat ears and wolf tail, and things along those lines
aren't allowed. There are just too many of them with little creativity. I'm also only allowing only a certain number of
animal-related characters, unless I really like your character's creativity then I may be willing to let it slide.
Also, you cannot have your character shift into a dragon or gryphon, or creatures such as that. You are, however,
allowed to take on an appearance of them as a type of humanoid. These creatures are exceptionally rare in these lands
and so make few appearances, you are permitted to have one show up now and then but don't make a habit of it.

~More rules shall be added as needed. Any violation to these rules will result from warnings to a ban from the RP, period of time depending

Forum Discussion / Questions about RP; New RP idea
« on: August 12, 2012, 05:35:10 pm »
Note: I wasn't sure if I should post this here or the Off-Topic Discussion Board. If the latter or something else entirely please say so politely. No need to be rude or all "high and mighty" because the thread has been put in the wrong place and you know where it goes :3

Hello FH members! This is Katsa☮Nóvarí, though you obviously know that by looking to your left ;D

Anyway, as you can see above I have posted a poll. The reason for this is because I want to try to get to the bottom of the lack of Roleplayers in Feral Heart. I joined the game about a year and a little over half ago, for the first couple months or so I only stayed ingame but it wasn't long until I started coming on the forums. Back then there were all kinds of new roleplays to check out along with experienced members. I remember I had to force myself to keep from joining more and focus on the ones I was already in, I used to be able to reply to RPs five times a day for each three-to-five RP groups, at least. But then suddenly it's like all of the good Rpers vanished, leaving only a few of us behind. I've seen friends leave and never come back, which made me sad that I'll never be able to RP with them again, and the RPs I was in with them die off. Over the months it kept increasing and increasing. A few times along the way I see new members with potential and I think perhaps the "RP era" would begin again, but then they suddenly disappear, too. Even so, I waited and hung on a little longer, hoping that the cause of all of this is because school was just keeping everyone busy. But when summer arrived, instead of people coming back or even having new members, it was like the exact opposite happened and everyone got even busier. Which I could understand with camps, parties, etc, but you would think there'd be a lot of free time now and then for people to go online at least, right?

Just in case anyone finds this offensive, I didn't intend for it to be. There are still good RPers around the forum, some of which I just probably haven't RPed with yet cause of our different RP tastes, so you're just in a group I haven't checked. I am in no way saying that everyone here is a terrible RPer. The main problem I'm having is that every time I do manage to find a promising RP group, members in it will post for awhile then after a few pages or so they stop replying until finally only two people are left and then it dies. I'm pretty sure others are experiencing this, too. I've even made a couple of my own, worked really hard on them and tried coming up with unique story lines and coming up with ways to make the RP exciting for everyone. It works out for awhile, but then suddenly most, if not all, stop posting. I try to bring them back up a couple of times and the members will put in some posts, but everyone just doesn't become motivated and it's like they're being forced to post, which I don't like at all. Everyone should have fun RPing and look forward to posting, not feel like they have to post just to put something there. Otherwise the post is dull, sloppy, and gives too little to go with until finally everyone is just not motivated to post. It's like a disease.

I'm hoping this poll will help me out into finding the problem. So far I just think it's because everyone's too busy, which is lame cause there's really no way of fixing that ._.
It's just weird, though, cause it seems that most literate and experienced RPers are the most busy. Please note the keyword "most" in that sentence. I didn't say "all", so I'm not pointing fingers and calling those who are regularly active inexperienced and non-literate 0.o

The reason why I'm posting this now is because I've been inspired with another RP idea. It was something I made a long time ago somewhere else and it was actually good and very fun. It lasted for nearly a year, the members in it were excellent Rpers; they were literate, active, and cooperated well together, we were able to use everyone's characters to feel involved and they included their own ideas along with mine that made everything work. In other words, they weren't "standing around picking their butt" while they made the host/hostess do all the work or having their characters intentionally seek out constant attention (no offense to anyone in particular). It was all well balanced, everyone felt important and therefore eager to reply, if there was a disagreement it was talked over and fixed instead of people bashing each other. The story was even a little cliche but somehow it remained exciting for everyone.

I want to start this up again because it was the best RP experience I ever had, but I don't really want to put in all the work if it's just going to be abandoned to collect dust. Granted I'll be changing a few things around and possibly the story line so it isn't cliche, but still. I kinda wanted to ask for help on ideas and suggestions but I've already made this introduction so long XD

Here's a quick summery:

Basically the RP was about a made up world set up in medieval times, and some people could be gifted with powers. However, disappearances have been occurring with those "gifted", no one knows who's taking them and where they've gone, or if they're even alive.

The things I kinda want to change are first the power thing. There are already a lot of Rps where people have powers, so this could just be annoying or have the reader think: I'm already in an RP where my character has powers, why would I RP here, too? I either want to change it to something else or somehow make it very unique, like limit what those "gifted" could do. If the first, I want ideas or suggestions of what could be done, like perhaps those taken are somehow special or unique, marked, cursed, things like that but more creative.
Another I'm thinking of changing is the reason why they're being taken which I won't explain here cause it'll give some things away. This may change, however, if the RP is going with powers or not. Still, feel free to offer suggestions and ideas!

That's all I have for now, I may post more depending!

Other Games / Wizard 101
« on: August 09, 2012, 12:51:38 pm »
I'm sure a good many has seen ads and the commercial about this game xD
Have any played it, though?

For those who don't know, Wizard101 is a game where you start out as a level 1 wizard who learns about magic, hence the name: Wizard101. The point of the game is to gain levels and complete quests to save the worlds from evil forces. But there's other things to do, too, like battle other players, fight monsters, and hang out with friends. The game is really fun and I enjoyed it, though I don't go on anymore for a number of reasons. When I get my own computer/laptop, though, I may start going back on.

The downside to this is that you have to pay real money to go to certain places, and most mounts and houses, along with other things. Upside is is that you don't /have/ to to enjoy the game. You can subscribe or buy a gift card but I had fun just going to the places you can go for free and hanging out with friends. There are also certain "bosses" you can battle that'll earn you a mount for a day and they're not all that difficult to come by, at least from what I can remember. You can also have pets and your very own house where only you can go, but you have to either use crowns (what it converts real money to) or gold which you can get by completing quests, selling, and battling monsters. It'll take awhile, but it's very well worth it!

It's been awhile since I came, but from the last time I checked it out it's been pretty disappointing... The chat they use you are more limited with what you can say, meaning it's filtered, but it's not overly annoying. Though you can't use caps anymore apparently, which irks me... >.>
There also tend to be "inappropriate" people who will try to troll and just talking immaturely, but there are still good ones out there and I believe Wizard101 is worth a try. Especially if you make a nice group of friends to accompany you, the game is more enjoyable ^.^

Stories / ?~The Old Documents~? [Chapter Four here!]
« on: May 26, 2012, 01:35:19 pm »
((This is a story I've only just begun to write. It's a complete work in progress, the only thing I have down for it in fact is setting, main character, and genre of the story. Everything else shall develop as it goes and so far I like how it's turning out. Chapter One is pretty uneventful but it's mostly a way for me to get a feel of the characters and the area, hopefully the next ones will be a lot better. Hope you enjoy the read, there isn't a specific plot line to this yet either so everything is basically from scratch! The picture below, by the way, I drew from scratch, so no copy cats please, thank you :3

Hope you enjoy! Also, I'm willing to listen to plot and character suggestions. Mind, they may not all be accepted, but input is encouraged ^.^))

No matter how many times he tossed and turned, the rough shaking that took over him just would not go away.
With the first few seconds of waking from a deep slumber, he had thought the source of such shaking was the result of
an earthquake, in which case he just pushed away from mind and tried going back to sleep while it passed. However,
this was not the case, unless for some reason the earthquake had magically developed a voice.
"Malen! Malen! Wake up Malen!" it kept saying. Honestly, Malen wouldn't be all that surprised if the earthquake
could speak and at the moment wished it was the case, but this voice was familiar, all too familiar. Slowly he drew the
covers closer to his nose and kept his eyes shut, but there was no fooling the source of the voice, either that or it was
just too persistent.
        "Malen!"
"Alright, I'm up," Malen mumbled drowsily, moving the covers away reluctantly along with the hand that had been
shaking him. Pulling his legs over the edge of the bed, Malen saw that  at least his waker had so kindly and thoughtfully
lit the candle on the bedside table for him. "What do you want, Jemly?"
"I need you to take me to Section 10 of the Library."
Malen stared at the young man, perhaps about the age of 19 or so, with a look that spoke disbelief. Jemly stared
back with grey-green eyes innocently. "You want me to what?" Malen finally voiced his thoughts, running his hand
through smooth, dark brown hair tinted red.
        "Take me to Section 10."
        "Go there yourself."
        "I can't."
        "Why not?"
"Because the guard won't let me, it's closed off to apprentices, remember?"
"Well then why were you trying to go in there by yourself?"
"But you- You asked- Gah, nevermind, can you take me please?"
"Might as well, you got me up," pushing himself away from the bed, Malen placed his traditional magician robe,
colored rather a plain dark, chocolate brown, over his nightshirt. The apprentice was already in his light grey colored one
with black lining along the hems, and by the dark circles under his eyes he hadn't gone to sleep yet.
The two were soon out the door walking down one of the many hallways of the Magik Tower, shoes echoing
through the empty space and bouncing back at them. Malen released a yawn and asked abruptly, "So what's so
important that you couldn't wait until morning to do this?" During the whole thing, the Mage's voice remained indifferent
and calm, not even a hint of annoyance creeping into his voice though he may feel it at being woken up. Jemly answered,
"I put in a lot of studying in today and I'm not about to stop. I think I'm finally near completing that spell.
"Well, it's no good if you're not getting enough sleep," Malen returned, not so much as a hint of interest or curiosity
reflecting in his steel-blue eyes. Jemly took no notice of it. "I tried a few times but my mind is restless, even as I close my
eyes I can think of nothing but how to do the spell right. Formulas, recipes, pronunciation... Soon I'm up again to give it
another go."
The wizard and apprentice were by now in the main Library, which contained sections 1-9 for everyone to use. They
were just passing 9 when the entryway to Section 10 came within view, the guard (another fellow mage) spotting them.
He stood to attention and cast Jemly a suspicious, untrustworthy glance, but once he saw Malen he stepped aside and
half-bowed respectfully. Malen gave a nod in greeting in his direction, saying to Jemly, "Alright, now what's the book
you're looking for?"
Jemly was still an apprentice of the tower for sometime and will be awhile more, though Malen himself wasn't that
much older than him. Magik just came as a gift to him, learning it more easily and quickly than most. Still, he wasn't
exactly a Master Mage, though neither was he weak. It mattered not what category others placed him in, Malen just
loved being around it and being able to use it, which could be why he'd gotten so far. Like Jemly, others forced-fed their
minds the knowledge books contained, seeming to learn it all more slowly than the other way around though some
managed to do it as such. Still, Malen didn't handle his magik carelessly, he had complete control of it and knew his
weaknesses and limits. Magik was a very dangerous subject, it was why this tower was built in the first place. Mages
were able to learn how to control their gifts, but if something were to happen the tower kept them trapped inside,
protecting those outside it's walls, and vise versa.
"You said 90042BA, correct?" Malen called down to Jemly from above the ladder he was using, selecting a book and
beginning to slide it out.
        "No, 90045BA."
"Oh..." The Mage placed the selected book back and ran his fingers along the spines, grasping another. "Here we
are," he pulled the book away and turned to hand it down to the  apprentice, pausing halfway as his eyes caught the
title. Jemly waited below expectantly.          "Well? What are you waiting for?"
"This is a book about Fire Spells."
        "Yeah, so?"
"I'm not going to let you practice Fire Spells in the Library."
"I'm not going to do them in here, in fact I won't be trying them at all, they're part of my research."
Malen stared back at him, suggesting he wasn't buying it. Jemly let out an exasperated sigh. "Does this mean you're
not going to let me use the book?"
"No, it doesn't, but I'll be supervising you." He handed the book to the apprentice.
"Is that suppose to be a punishment?" he questioned as he accepted it.
"Yes, for me," Malen made his way back down the ladder and gestured for Jemly to lead the way. He obliged, rather
eagerly, and they were soon out of Section 10 and headed toward Section 5.
"Wait until I've told you what I've learned," the apprentice pulled out a seat for Malen, who plopped himself right
down and leaned against it wearily, only half listening to what the young man was saying. "Alright, but make this quick. I
need to get back to bed."
"Right then, well the first thing I noticed that was wrong was that there was too much Spice Wood powder, which
was strange because one would think it'd be strong enough, but instead it backfired because the LillyStem..."
The words came on and on with no end in sight. Malen rubbed both hands down his face in misery as the realization
of a sleepless night dawned on him. Somewhere along the sea of words he must have drifted off, because the shaking
had taken over again and was calling out his name, less patiently than before.
"Sorry, sorry..." he muttered with a shake of his head, sitting more upright. Jemly looked down at him with irritation
plastered upon his features, his dark black hair almost lost in the shadows behind him, giving him the impression of being
bald. This observation caused a sappy grin to settle across Malen's visage, only burning the annoyance within the young
apprentice. The Mage knew that he was only keeping his temper back now for respect reasons, and he quickly
vanquished the grin.
"What was so funny?" Jemly demanded.
"My dream," he answered. "I was dreaming about a dancing flamingo." Odd excuse, but he supposed it would do.
To bad Jemly didn't think so, Malen had thought it would at least calm the lad down a bit. Come on, who couldn't smile at
the idea of dancing flamingos? "You were saying?"
"What does it matter?" Jemly's mood had suddenly changed, his voice sounding that of defeat as he dropped the
book noisily on the table and flopping into his seat. "You won't listen anyway, and I'll just get it wrong."
"Come, now, that's no way to be thinking. Go ahead, I'll listen this time, after all you've put so much work into this."
"Easy for you to say," the apprentice snapped. "It all comes so easily for you. You don't even have to take the test
every year now and I've taken it four times, and still barely pass with a passing grade. While you're learning the real deal
stuff and I'm stuck here learning the kiddy tricks. I spend every waking hour studying and getting better, I work twice as
hard as most here yet I'm still moving inch by inch. Why am I not improving?"
Malen slowly shifted his form so he sat more at attention, sighing inwardly as he heard the words. There was no
point in trying to comfort him, if Jemly really did want to improve he needed to learn the truth. "Magik isn't like school
work, Jemly," he began. "You can't simply just study for a certain amount of time and know it. Magik is a passion, an art
almost. You can't force yourself to know it, you just have to let yourself. Let it come flowing to you, take it one step at a
time. If you're having trouble with one subject, go to another and come back to it later, everyone has a different style
and can't learn some like others can. Find what your more suited for and use it to your advantage. It'll take time, much
more time, and immense patience. But once you get the hang of it, you'll begin to learn and even teach much more easily.
Do you understand what I'm saying?"
Jemly gave a light nod, looking a bit disappointed but resolved nonetheless. "I suppose so.."
"Good. Now, how about you pick that book up and we can begin, hm?"

"Malen? Malen, why are you asleep? Wake up!"
This time the shaking was much more merciful as it shook him gently back and forth, the voice light. The lists of
ingredients that had been rolling in his head vanished in an instant as he opened his eyes, relieved that he still
wasn't stuck in the library with Jemly anymore. No, he was now in one of the many spell rooms of the tower, sitting
at a table with a young woman around his own age with dark, almond brown hair and matching eyes sitting across
from him. The robe she wore was a dark, purple color that made him think of rose petals the way the fabric looked
soft and smooth. Pulling away a sheet of paper that attached itself to his cheek, Malen rubbed sleep out of his eyes
as the sounds of scribbling pens to paper reached his ears from the wizards around them, threatening to lull him
back to sleep again. Jashlyn shook her head.
        "Jemly keep you up again?"
"Yeah... I was up all night with him helping him practice that spell of his."
"You should learn to say no. He can't keep doing this to you."
"As I recall, you were the same way. You hardly ever let me sleep."
"That was when we were apprentices, though, now we're full fledged wizards and able to continue on to more
important things."
Malen held up the piece of paper that had recently been his pillow and held it in front of his companion. "Like
learning how to make fizzy drinks from water?"
Jashlyn swiped the paper away in mock annoyance, sending him a scowl. "It could be useful! If we study hard
enough, we may be able to use it to make the simplest yet most useful concoctions yet, it may even power one's
mind to reaching higher levels of intelligence and/or concentration to perform or even create the most powerful
spells. Just think of the possibilities!"
        "Tea."
        "What?"
"Tea," Malen waved a hand before the table as if pointing out a very obvious though interesting point. "Boil
water, add your most desirable flavored leaves in, and there you have yourself a powerful concoction. You should
give it a try, it even helps you sleep. There's also meditation, taking a walk and getting some fresh air, reading...
there are all sorts of things to do to power one's mind without having to give someone a drug."
"It's not a drug," Jashlyn said, though halfheartedly as she crumbled the paper up. Tossing it over her
shoulder she gestured to all the other piles of paper, scrolls, and books. "Okay, so maybe that wasn't the best
subject to pick from but look at how far we got with others."
"Maybe I should assign him a tutor...
        "Malen!"
        "Hm? Yes?"
"Are you even listening to me?"
"Sorry, was thinking about Jemly still. I think perhaps he needs a personal trainer, someone with more time
and experience than me. Maybe that'll help him..."
A soft sigh escaped pass Jashlyn's lips, her expression becoming softer as she rose from her seat and gently
took the bowl of mashed power and the tool used to make it from Malen's hands. He hardly seemed to notice.
"How about you go for a walk and get some of that fresh air? I'll finish up here," she said to the wizard, Malen
blinking his eyes a few times as he realized he was being spoken to again. "Alright," he willingly agreed, if with a
bit of hesitation. Pushing back the chair away from the table, he made his way to the door.
"I wonder if dancing flamingos show up during the day..."

      ~*~*~*~*~

The woods surrounding the tower were quiet this time of day, only the singing of the birds keeping total
silence at bay. The trees, grass, flowers, everything the sun touched seemed to dance with the soft yet illuminating
light, though one would suspect as such for a summer's day. The weather was pretty decent, hot for a robe but a
cool breeze relieved some of the heat building up within him, though he was already used to it.
Malen walked along beside a small creek, the sound of the bubbling water running over rocks always soothing
him. How nice it would be to travel like the water, taking its journey anywhere the earth will allow it. Where did it
start and where did it end? Where did it all come from and where was it going? It made him think of magik, weren't
the two a lot alike? Where did magik truly come from, and what true purpose did it serve? Did it just flow in streams
of it's own, places that the naked human eye could not see, and like water, found it's way inside people?
It was a rather interesting thought to dwell upon, but Malen had the misfortune of being within earshot of
thudding hoofs, snapping branches, and loud shouts. The idea was gone. Sighing aloud in disappointment, Malen
turned to the direction of where the sounds came from, simply waiting for them to reveal themselves while he
rested his arms within his robe sleeves. Malen didn't have long to wait, the horses that were the source of the
noise emerged from the woods, their long powerful legs snapping branches in their path. Armored men were upon
their backs, carrying an assortment of packs, swords, spears, bows and arrows, and other equipment. They ceased
their run in the same clearing the wizard stood, reigning back their horses in a rather dramatic manner as the
graceful beasts whinnied and neighed. When the hooves touched ground again they shook their manes and
snorted, breathing heavily from their long run. The men remained on their backs, looking around the area almost
critically. They seemed to not have noticed Malen.
Soldiers... The wizard thought grimly. They were basically the underdogs of the Knights, honorable men
that fight for justice and protecting the innocent, something that Malen couldn't help but admire even if most of
them weren't quite fond of Mages. The Soldiers of the town that was close by the Tower, however, were exact
opposites of the Knights. Ignorant, selfish... they only performed deeds mainly to try and impress those around
them, demeaning toward everyone but themselves (and the knights and royalty/nobles). They consider themselves
knights most of the time though would never say so aloud, in many ways it was amusing but after awhile they
became a nuisance.
Even now Malen could see that they were waiting for him to address them, their eyes straining from flickering
over to him in acknowledgement. A few were rather having a hard time at this, you could see the concentration and
strain upon their visages as they kept their gazes averted. Usually the mage would make a game of it and see how
long it would take until they finally gave in and would be forced to notice him, but today he wasn't really in the
mood.
Clearing his throat, he called out, "Greetings fair men, what brings thee to the humble forest of our grand
Magik Tower?"
One of the men, whom Malen considered the one in charge of the group with blond hair and dark eyes, riding
a white stallion with patches of grey mingled in, blinked as if surprised, catching sight of the wizard and casting him
a look that suggested distaste.
"Ah, so you are one of the mages of this Magik Tower?" He said in what he had probably assumed was a
strong, admirable tone of voice, but to Malen it sounded dull. He did manage to sound bored, though.
        "Indeed I am."
"Good, good. I have been sent here to search for a mage known as Malen, a man has a request for him that
he hopes he will accept. Unfortunately the tower cannot be found by... non-mages, so we had been wondering
these woods for quite sometime now. May you take this message to Malen and send us word if he accepts or
declines?"
"No need," Malen answered, a look of interest settling over his visage now with curiosity seeping into his
voice. "I am the one you are searching for, Malen. What is the request?"
Seeming rather relieved, the man rummaged through his belt and brought forth a scroll tied in a simple ribbon.
Malen accepted it, carefully removing the ribbon and unfolding the scroll. The writing was neatly written by a careful
hand:

Characters / 웃Katsa☮Nóvarí's Creations웃 ~A WIP~
« on: May 24, 2012, 10:55:52 am »
Name: Raven
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Appearance: Long, black hair that reaches to about between her shoulder blades, and gives off a dark purple glow when
light is directed on it much like a raven's feathers, sometimes showing blue depending on the light's strength. Her eyes
are a deep, violet color with brows lightly lowered above them to give off a determined look, with sharp and focused
features. Her skin is very pale, and her hands are rather thin and nearly fragile looking, but have a good grip
nonetheless. About 5'7" in height, and is always wearing long sleeved shirts and jeans consisting of dark colors, usually
dark shades of purple and blue, occasionally black.

Personality: An independent female that doesn't really talk much to others unless it's required or to be polite. She
respects her elders and will show it to others unless she believes they don't deserve it, but isn't one to give in to anger
or rage. In fact, it's difficult to get any real emotion out of her wither one is trying to make her angry, sad, happy, etc. At
most she'll become annoyed, but other than that she keeps an impassive expression and calm tone, simply stating
something matter-of-factly then be on her way. She isn't afraid to voice out her opinions and keeps within reason,
disagreeing or agreeing with someone else as long as she believes them to be true. Her favorite activity is to read, you
would always catch her with a book. Due to her high intelligence and seeming a fact-based person, it's surprising to most
that her favorite subject is actually fantasy, though she'll read just about anything. Raven also has trouble putting trust
in others and in fact thinks that if someone comes up to her and possibly being nice, she suspects they're only doing it
because they expect something in return. Because of this, along with her weak social-skills, making friends isn't really
one of her specialties, though she doesn't really try to make any.

Likes: Learning with a burning passion, if you want to see a real reaction from her or get her to talk, talk about a subject
that's little known about, or give her a book on an ancient history, things like that. Her favorite past time is learning
something new. Reading, peace and quiet, libraries, maps (preferably old ones), and has a love for coffee and tea. A cafe
would be a favorite place of her's to visit, in fact.

Dislikes: Obnoxious people, constant loud noises, people trying to talk to her when she isn't interested in the subject,
those with little respect, damaged books (especially if they belong to her), and ignorance.

Strengths: Has a very strong sense of will-power, once she has set her mind on something she plans to complete it. She
also has high intelligence that goes beyond the average person of her age and, at times, older. Another that could be
considered a strength is how level-headed she can be and not give in to pressure.

Weaknesses: Though her will-power and intelligence are great, defects of her's are rather worrisome. Her body is frailish
and weak, explaining her abnormal pale skin. This is due to being infected by a deadly disease a long time ago at a
young age. She survived it, of course, but her immune system had weakened. Raven becomes ill more easily and worse
than the average person so has to take extra care of her environment and what she's wearing, though if she's hit with
another deadly disease it could be the end of her.

Date Created: March 13, 2011
Proof: ~Highschool of secrets~ RP
Extra: She was first made, actually, about a year or two before that, but was a wolf at first with a different
personality. She's developed a lot since then and now.

Name: Nami
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Appearance: Short hair that only reaches almost to her shoulders and are slightly spiked at the ends, with bangs draping
over her forehead and slightly over her eyes but spread far apart enough for her to see clearly. Her hair is a pure black
but tinted a very dark, nightblue color that's more noticeable when light reflects off it. Her eyes are a dark nightblue color
as well, brows lowered in focused determination and sharp features. Has a rather smaller frame than most her age, but
her strong spirit makes up for that. Wears nightblue clothing most of the time, usually a smooth Chinese-like shirt that's
plain save for the black line going down the middle from the neck and black lining on both the hems of the sleeves and
shirt. At the top of the black line, it cuts to the right then back up to the neck where a round, smooth red gem lays. The
sleeves go all the way to the wrist but the hems open up wider so they're covering half the hands. Wears matching
pants/jeans, and usually has a belt around her waist containing useful items of different varieties.

Personality: Has a rather restless spirit and can never quite hold still for too long if it serves no purpose. She's more of a
person to take action then just wait around for something to happen, but this doesn't make her rash or bold. Nami is
quite a reasonable person and usually observes a situation and views her options before acting, doing so quickly so as
to not waste time, and is willing to listen to other's suggestions as long as there is no need to hurry. When time is an
issue, she acts fast and performs what she thinks is the best action to take before it's too late, she reacts well under
pressure with quick reflexes, and if someone needs her she's there in a second. Nami is someone one could depend on
with nearly any task and she'll do her best with it, to her failure is not an option. However, when it becomes the other
way around it is more difficult for Nami has a tough time on deciding if she could rely on another. One of the things she
hates is if her life depended on another's hands and would try to avoid that as much as possible, but now and then she
does come across someone she could trust. And, in general, she could rather be impatient and get annoyed easily,
annoyance soon turned into anger depending on the situation and if the issue isn't fixed yet. But if it calls for it, Nami can
be patient if she wants to, though that's not to say she'll be happy about it.

Likes: Surprisingly, she likes to be around others. As long as they're not constantly trying to annoy her or agitate her,
she likes to hang around those she likes and cares about, though she may tend to stay quiet and say something only
now and then. Helping out, doing a job/mission, fight, finding out information/spying, and at times being by herself.

Dislikes: Foolishness, other's making a wrong move on her side, especially if it's obvious, whiners and people who
complain, woe-is-me-self-pity, slackers, people who demean others, and large bodies of water.

Strengths: Nami is never one to underestimate her opponent so is never easy to fool or surprise, she has quick reflexes
and is able to react fast in any situation no matter what, she keeps a cool head and when in a fight has better control
over her emotions. Also has keen eyes and sharp hearing, she's able to track in the woods and find ways to survive if
needed, and conceal herself from others especially in shadows. Speed is more her ally than strength, considering her
height and smallish stature, but as long as she's able to dodge she can fight someone face-to-face, mostly skilled with a
knife/kunai and hitting vital points, being quick to point out weaknesses quickly as well. At times she may even be able to
use a thin sword if it's mainly made for speed.

Weaknesses: Her physical strength is rather poor along with her endurance, she wouldn't really be able to hold someone
back or keep them pinned and if the battle goes on for awhile she begins to tire out. About the only exception to this is if
she's running off. She also has a fear of water, she's able to drink it of course but when it comes to swimming or crossing
it, it's more of a problem. Most of the time she can swallow her fear and do it, but the deeper and longer it becomes the
more difficult it is. She'd be able to cross it if it's shallow enough, but if her paws can't feel the ground or she can't see
the bottom, and it's going on for quite a distance, there's no way she'd go.

Date Created: March 27th, 2011
Proof: Return of the Keyblade RP
Extra: Was made as a wolf first out of boredom in FH, but have mostly used her as a human now. Also, she has a lot of
similarities with Raven which is because her personality was inspired by the character. But as time passed, she began
developing traits of her own, and now both have as much differences as they do with what they have in common. The
name I used for her, by the way, was a name I always wanted to use when I first began watching One Piece as a
younger child when they still aired Toonami. Nami was part of the "Straw Hat Pirates" and was my favorite character (still
is), and being horrible and uncreative with names decided to use it haha. Ironically, though, the name basically means
"water" or "wave" from the Japanese origin and deprived from "tsunami", and Nami is terrified of water.

Name: Karma
Age: 3 in wolf years
Gender: Female
Species: Wolf

Appearance: A dark grey-silver pelt with patches of black. Her paws are completely black and goes up until it blends in
with the grey-silver halfway, the tip of her tail is also black along with the tips of her ears, which are sharp. Underfur is
black and has black patches along her visage, more subtle than on the rest of her body. Eyes are a keen electic-blue
color, when light reflects off them it gives the impression of lightning flashing. Somewhat shorter in height but her build is
well muscled and fit for a female wolf.

Personality: Karma is a straightforward kind of person who freely voices her opinion though if the situation calls for it can
be more kind and gentle with her words. She's witty and quick thinking, able to act under pressure and plan her tactic
and actions in a neatly order to get a job done or face an enemy. She's practically always alert and attentive to her
surroundings, catching her off guard is nearly impossible, though not completely. She can be a pretty patient person
though she has a tough time tolerating complainers and whiners, especially if they let what she considers "small things"
bother them. Karma is willing to help anyone out wither it be giving advice, getting them out of a tough situation, etc, as
long as they're not taking advantage over it and only doing it for attention and pity. If it's for any of those reasons,
Karma will simply abandon them and leave them on their own until they actually toughen up and learn to take care of
themselves. She has the potential to become a leader if others accepted her as such, but will hold any position with
pride (unless made a low rank like an Omega and forced to stay there, then she may just challenge someone who
has a high rank and try to take it from them).

Likes: Tracking, hunting, her brother, teasing and making fun of others, and climbing.
Dislikes: Pups (sometimes), flirting with others and vise versa, those who whine and complain unless for a good reason,
and attention-seekers.

Strengths: Quick thinking and able to plan attacks with a limited amount of time. High endurance and good strength, and
because of her past is able to survive in tough weather. Excellent stealth and a fighter.

Weaknesses: Her speed isn't the best, and despite her build a larger male may be able to overpower her. Though she
can hold her ground, someone with greater speed may be able to catch her off guard and knock her off balance. She also
doesn't try to kill someone right away unless it's absolutely necessary, so someone trying to kill her may have an
advantage over this.

Proof: The Winter's Curse RP
Extra: Karma was actually made awhile ago before this in-game as a wolf, possibly a month before the RP was made.
When I started the RP, I had decided to try and develop Karma more by making her human, but this is about the only
time I did it. It was also about this time I had decided to make Dusk (who was actually made much later than Karma) and
Karma siblings.

Name: Dusk
Age: 4 in wolf years
Gender: Male
Species: Wolf

Appearance: A black pelt with tinges of grey added in, giving the illusion of thunder clouds. Rather thick but lean enough
for swift and light movements, his eyes are the same color as his pelt but lighter and when light reflects off them it gives
the impression of a storm brewing, adding to the affect if he's angry or upset. He's a little larger than other wolves but
quick, if not the fastest, nonetheless.

Personality: He's more impassive about things and always seems to maintain a calm demeanor. At most he'll react to
anger if someone manages to hit just the right buttons but even then he keeps a leveled head and won't give in to
emotion, which he always keeps in check. He's more harsh to wolves than others and very rarely shows he cares, and
only has respect toward those who've earned it. Only his sister he respects 110%. He has a habit of hitting sensitive
subjects toward others, though won't do so with ones that become his or his sister's friends (sometimes). He also has an
aura of being in charge but is more of someone to take second in command or a different high rank to avoid taking on too
much responsibility. He doesn't tolerate disrespect toward himself by someone he considers lower and will teach them a
lesson.

Likes: Fighting, being in charge, acting on his own, mostly enjoys being by himself, and humiliating others.
Dislikes: Being showed up, talked back to, talked down on, others making deadly mistakes, and being held back.

Strengths: Like his sister, he's able to fight and use stealth but planning isn't exactly his specialty. Still he reacts quick
and is able to tell if someone is near by keen senses of smell, sight, and hearing. His fur especially helps with camouflage
in the shadows of trees and at night.

Weaknesses: Get him angry enough and he just may slip up. He may at times underestimate his opponent if they look
weak enough (to him) so may make a mistake, and the fact that he doesn't tend to take everything seriously could get
him into trouble.

Proof: The Winter's Curse RP
Extra: As mentioned above, Dusk was created much later than Karma and at first weren't intended to be related. I had
made Dusk for the purpose of acting as one of the main bad guy's in the very first RP I had made on the FH site. It was in
General Roleplay and titled Reincarnation VS Oblivion, or something like that. I would of provided a link to that but
unfortunately with the passing of time, old RPs in the General section were mostly removed when they were being
organized. However, I believe there is a way I can have it retrieved and if so, I will gladly provide a link in the future.
Moving on to the reason why I had made Dusk and Karma siblings was for the following reasons: Their appearances
were similar, personalities and strengths nearly the same, and they pretty much have the same outlook on everything.
What can I say, I believe them to be the perfect brother and sister pair.

You'll be Alright

Listen one and all to what is about to be said,
Let it be known not everything is dread.
Stop once in awhile and look back on life,
Take a breath, don't be filled with strife.
So you had a bad day, don't let it slow you down,
Had another? Rise so you don't drown.
Simply smile and it'll make a change,
It may take all your might,
But you'll be alright.
You'll be alright.

Car breakdown, at least it wasn't taken.
Stressed from school, at least you're in it.
A fight with your family, at least you have one.
Dislike your house, at least you have a roof over your head.
Job not paying you enough for that X-box, at least you're paid and fed.
You have a bed to rest your head.
A place of safety and warmth.
Places to go, things to do.
Hang out with a friend,
Relax and watch TV,
Read a favorite book,
Eat Oreos with milk,
Enjoy life and let the small things go,
Move on and look forward to tomorrow instead of lingering in yesterday.
Get over a simple fight,
Cause you'll be alright.
You'll be alright.

Take the time to vent and complain,
But then carry on before you're driven insane,
Because, my friend, it is not worth it,
To drown in anger and woe for once it's lit
It's hard to douse and vanish until it's too late.
Allow me to set the record straight
And show you the light,
You'll be alright.
You'll be alright.
