Chirp chirp was the only thing he could hear. The cat without eyes could only growl to himself in a feline way about the birds. Being sightless made him more conscious of the world around him and for that he began to hate the avien race. He couldn't hunt them, all they could do is chirp and flap and occasionally peck his head. But then a sound and odd smell perked his attention. "Hey, kid!"
