Adding friends on the forum

Hi guys.

I was adding some of my friends and my wolf mate on the forum and it instantly added them.
Does this mean that they do not have to accept your friend request and that you won't turn up in their friends list?

If you mean the Buddies system, then no, I don't believe it sends a friend request or anything.

Adding someone as a buddy is completely private. You can add someone as a buddy, but they won't really know that you've added them and you won't show up in their buddy list unless they add you as well. It's less of a friend request and more of a way to just keep a list of people you want to keep track of, I suppose.

Hopefully this clears it up ^^ The buddy system isn't used much around here, so I don't know too much about it outside of my experience.

Alright, Since your 'problem' has been resolved, A mod can come by and lock this.

Indeed, there is no request sent for those you add on the buddy system. You can add any user you like on there, and they will instantly become your buddy (assuming the account exists and that you're typing in the correct info). The buddy system does not affect your in-game friend list, however, and someone you add on the buddy will not necessarily add someone to your friends list in-game.
