Hey, sorry, quick and partially unrelated question, but for how long has it been unavailable to create a new account? I actually can't even get into the game right now, due to a "cannot connect to the front server" error. Is this by any chance common?

Registration opens at random times, it is still possible to register new accounts. You need to keep the Play Game page open and logged in the entire time you play the game.
