Hey and welcome !!
It's really nice to know that even someone who's just now joining FH can still see the charm of the game & community.
The forums are a bit of a learning curve and I unfortunately stayed away from the forums for years despite being a user since 2011.
But turns out the forums are great haha, you just have to get the hang of it.
There are tutorials for pretty much everything on the forums, including coding, map making, and presets making.
Additionally, you can find BBCoding tutorials elsewhere if you google it.
I'll give you a quick tutorial on how to add images/screenshots to the forums.
You'll first want to upload the photo to an image hosting service. People have used Photobucket and Flickr in the past. But I recommend using Imgur.
Once you upload an image to Imgur, you'll want to click "Get share links"
Then you'll want to copy where it says "BBCode (Forums)"
Then on the forums you're gonna want to paste that link into a code you'll type out. Here's what it should look like:
Where it says img width you can just mess around with the size, it does not have to be 650. The bigger the number, the bigger the image will appear.
I'll leave a few other links to some fun and helpful tutorials:

Hey! Thanks!
It is hard to ignore honestly, for it is fill with passion!
Whoa, yet another person who began playing such a long time ago! Yeah, this forum format is definitely not what is
common nowadays, and it can feel odd to navigate and use them. It's nice knowing that I am not really alone when
comes to me not having a master level when it comes to the forums haha.
Hey, that is actually cool! Even if I prefer a more directly guided way of learning, I feel like it's worth giving them a try,
and hey, it really sounds like there's many of them, and I'm pretty sure they are high quality! I wasn't expecting there to
be coding tutorials tbh, though I am more interested in those involving maps.
Goodness, this is the first time I hear about BBCoding ever, so I'll be sure to keep in mind that term.
Dude, the image tutorial is super useful! Kudos to you for going an extra thousand miles and providing a clear step by step
guide with images! It really shows how much effort you put into willing to help me, which I really appreciate!
I will also be sure to check out the tutorials you have linked! I will definitely be returning to this comment more than once!
Oh it will definitely help! Once again, thank you so much for taking your time to provide me with all this in info, and in a
very organized and clear way! Now I will be able to make a post featuring some of my screenshots!
