Preset Problem
« on: September 08, 2012, 04:20:57 pm »
Hello there!  You may remember me as that funny-looking TEC fox Hohki or that armored menace Enerjak, the only characters I ever get on.

I've been having troubles with making a preset for Hohki.  I've made presets like hers before without problems, but.....

How do I get rid of those ugly white outlines around her markings?  I've checked the images for mistakes on GIMP and Photoshop with no luck.  I also tried messing around with the coding in the material file.  Help?

Simply a result of the way it's layered.
I can tell that you made a white mask layer, then made it so the markings appear in the white mask through the material.
Am I right?

There is a way to fix this, but it requires some work, to layer the markings differently.

PM me if you'd like.

That's not how I did it.  I took a black 512x512 image and erased some areas before putting it on top, like I did with an older preset.

Really?
That's odd. This problem only occurs with white mask...

Can you PM me your material file and the images for the tail?
Maybe there's something else here..
