Title: Natsu no Ookami-Mapped, literate and brand new.

We are survivors. For centuries, we have fought for our freedom, this paradise of ours. It is beautiful, just like the wolves who live here. But, as every pup knows,every beautiful thing has a down side.
Banished creatures lurk in the shadows, waiting to catch you alone. Ghostly screams ech across the moor in the dead of night. Lost souls envy our freedom as a mortal being. And there is the evil, the ones who threatened us so long ago. So loner, will you stay? Will you survive? I dare you.
About us:
We are a mapped, literate and un-realistic wolf RP. The name 'Natsu no Ookami' means wolves of the summer in Japanese. Our in-game group name is ~Natsu no Ookami~ and if you are interested in joining, either whisper an RP sample in-game to me, Lunarwing11(preferred) or post one here.
Ranks:
Ranks:
Alphas- The highest ranking wolves in the pack, or the 'leader's'
Betas- The second in command and the wolves who take an alpha's place when needed. Also like an advisor to alphas.
Deltas-The third in command wolves, and the next in line to become betas.They are usually the one who organize hunting patrols and ambushes.
Hunters- The wolves in charge of getting food for the pack, they will also join a battle patrol if necessary.
Warriors- A group of strong, battle-ready wolves that will fight and defend the pack.
Healers- Healers are in charge of injured packmates and medicines. Alphas, betas and deltas can also be part-time Healers.
Pups- The youngest wolves in the pack, pups are mischievous and are sometimes looked after by the betas or deltas, but mostly their parents.
Omegas- The lowest-ranking wolves in the pack, usually not strong enough to be of any use.
Taken ranks are in the group bio.
Important- only Lunarwing11 knows the map password and I AM THE ONLY ONE allowed to give it out. If anyone is caught giving it, they will be immediately kicked and banned from the map. THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE. thanks.

hehe looks like no one cares, but i do! ill join you as your beta please! here goes my rp sample:

As he is walking in the maple forrest, Aleron notices he is being followed. He is a smart wolf and knows not to look, instead he simply continues walking until he sees a large tree and turns to walk behind it and vanishes. From his new vantage point he notices it was a demonic being that has been stalking him. With a brave voice he asks "Why have you been following me friend?" in responce the creature simply grunts and says, "Garblin master tell Garblin kill you!" "Is that so Garblin? even after ive saved you life?" Garblin shuffles his feet slightly and says "Garblin no choice, master mad, he no like wolves!" At this point Aleron opens a dark portal under Garblin and sends him back the the underworld.: well that was my rp sample, hope you accept me, ill belogging into the game starting on the 25 ^.^ cant wait to join you!

XD:Mink padded through the forest sniffing around the undergrowth looking for prey when she heard a sound and pricked her ears, her lips drawn back in a snarl-"Whos there?! Show yourself!" She snarled. "Stand down fido" Came a voice from the shadows-"Dont get your tail in a knot Im no harm" He sneered as he came out of the bushes his gray pelt gleaming as the golden rays of the sun shined on it. Mink snarled still her lips drawn back to show her razor sharp teeth-"Who are you stranger?" Mink demanded slowly walking up to him and walking around him sniffing the strange males fur."My name is Warrior, Whats youres cutey?" He smiled slyly bending his head down intell him and Mink's faces where only A whisker's length away from eachother-"Cutey?!" Mink snarled jerking her head back and throwing a paw at Warriors face."Woah!" He gasped pulling back just intime for Minks paw to just hit air."My names Mink" She snarled setting her paw back down her Blood red eyes glowing as she staired at the bulky gray male."Thats a very pretty name" Warrior said smiling his Ice blue eyes gleaming as he stared back at the small white and black she-wolf her silver bangs covering her left eye as she stood in a defencive stance. Mink stood straight up when he said that and her eyes soffened and she blushed a little-"R-Really?" She smiled."Mmhmm" Warrior smiled getting close to her again."Thanks, Warriors a nice name to" Mink blushed as Warrior stood next to her and bent his head down to try and lick her cheek but she smiled and turned her head before he could."Sorry for trying to hit you earlier" Mink said shyly. "Its ok" He breathed licking her muzzle making her blush.

You can, but I dunno if you'd like to be Stone Sakura's mate... No offense to her, but she can be.. well... spirited, let's say.
That goes for everyone, you don't have to be mates with the other one of the pair ranks, so no pressure.

Ok a few things before my ~horrible~ RP sample:

1. That screenie is just epic! :D

2. How many characters are you allowed onto the group?

3. I can say Rin or She, up to you. (With the smaple I'm going to say both I guess XD)

Le RP sample:

Rin slowly walked around the tall trees which shaded the area. She wondered as she walked, sometimes circling a tree and curling her tail around it as doing so then continuing to walk forward. She scented some other wolf, before she could look around she heard a loud screech of an eagle as it flew past. The screech soon faded and everything became silent. She sighed, shuddered and flicked her ears. This action was a habit of hers which she sadly had. Some people think it's a sign that she's sad. Others don't know what to think of it. Rin grumbled a few words before continuing. She looked around and soon hit her head on a quite large tree. The hit made a deep, low, hollow sound before she yelped quietly to herself. She also had a habit of running into other people or things. She yawned, it was suddenly dark so she found herself a nice ditch in the ground covered with leaves and crawled inside. The ditch was warm and she liked the comfort of it, until she heard some growling.~

It's not horrible, I just want to see if you are literate, which you are.
It doesn't really matter how many characters you have, just make sure you can keep up with all of them.
It doesn't REALLY matter to me what you call your wolf (including nicknames and such).

I'm interested, I'll send an rp sample your way. c: Is Delta open or healers? If unrealistic I'm assuming you'd accept my character with a preset? She has glowing red markings- though if not i understand. xD Anyways rp sample coming up, be prepared owo

Sample:

Minty eyes scanned the area boredly, a dull, humorless expression resting on her features. The small built female climbed onto a nearby rock before plopping down on her haunches. This was a new land, a new place to explore. The possibilities were vast, spreading out to even endless. Nirei should be excited, but found a growing ball of anxiety building in her gut. A new place, a fresh start, it was supposed to be happy, and yet the wolf couldn't bring herself to smile. With the possible new outcomes of a strange place, came the unfavorable ones. What if the locals were hostile and chased off? What if they did worse and she ended up with something worse off then a slightly blind left eye.

A frown formed on her lips, eyes darting up to the sky. Soft, white, fluffy clouds floated leisurely above, not a care in the world. How great would it be to have no worries? If only that were the case. The wind picked up slightly, caressing her silky cream fur gently. The young female leaned into the invisible force slightly. It was almost comforting, reassuring, a gentle sweet scent lingering faintly. It reminded her of home. A home she no longer had. Sure the den was still there but those she cared for most were not. Where had they gone to?

'I was so far in my studies too..' She thought bitterly, ears feathering back. There was still hope though, wasn't there? A chance to move on with her life and grow? A puzzled yet determined air danced in her eyes, letting her gaze sweep once more across the land. As much as she missed home, she had to keep going, one day at a time. It'd all work itself out in the end. A simple flick of her tail and she hopped down, padding off in a randomly chosen direction to face whatever her future held.

Rp sample: Wrath dashed through the forest. She knew what she had to do. A loner was invading her territory, and if it wouldn't listen, it would die today. She reached the border and sniffed the air. It was here. She ran so fast, that she flew. Catching up with the loner, she growled, "what are you doing on MY territory?" The loner scoffed at Wrath's size. Yes, she was small, but wicked. The loner pounced on wrath, but went right through her. Wrath smiled at it's surprise. The loner slowly backed away. "wha- what are you?" it asked. Wrath grinned, and a set of transparent wings appeared, glowing on her back. "Your worst nightmare" She replied. The loner gulped, then it's face changed. "Wait! if you're a ghost, you can't hurt me!" It smiled. Wrath chuckled, and walked over to the loner, she held up her paw and struck it over the nose, her claws digging into the loner's muzzle. It yelped in pain, and backed away. "Yes I can" Wrath smiled, then she pounced on the loner, digging her claws through it's neck...

Hey hay! I wanted to know if I could join :D. Well, here goes my RP sample: Skylar, the loner wolf, stood at the edge of the forest. A strange male wolf approached her, and before she could even look, she thought, "What the? Who is this...strange..." Skylar got caught up in her thoughts as the male flexed his muscles at Skylar. She got out of her thoughts and fantasy world, and glared at him, eyes wide, claws out, and her sharp fangs showing. "Who are you, and../what/ are you doing?..." Skylar asked to the male that was now sitting down, holding a rabbit to her. He was smiling in the cutest way, but Skylar kept her grudge. "No, no, no, no, no, no. I am not holding up for that stuff." she growled. Soon, the male opened his mouth and began to speak in a low voice, yet soothing. "Why not, sweet heart?" he asked as he flirted. "Sweet heart? No, male. What's your name, what are you doing, and get out of my way!" she shouted. Skylar lunged at the male, biting onto his neck. He soon threw her off, and sat down again. "Too easy," he said. The male had drawn blood from Skylar, and he licked his muzzle. "Mmhm.. You're just what I am looking for," he started. "A nice, female to start a pack with. You're smart, confident, spunky, and all of those things a wolf can start a pack with. Lets just say...You're.. my type." he said. The male walked over to her, and sat down, his crystal grey eyes matching her grey eyes. Their two grey and black streaked pelts touched. "We're perfect for eachother," the male said. "I'm Grantle. What's your name? First, calm down. I won't hurt you." he reassured Skylar. Skylar sat there motionless, speechless, then started to speak, "Skylar. You've got a wierd name, but considering I am grey, and my name is Skylar, you've got a point." Skylar said. "And it would be nice to start a pack together, Grantle. We can be leaders, get pack members, and maybe even have pups." she smiled as her head looked up at Grantle. "Okay, Skylar. Let's just start with finding a pack den first." Grantle said. Thus, started a rough, then good, love story. (Hope you like it! :D)

Cosmo lay at rest in the grass. He had just slipped away after eating with the rest of the pack. Most had fallen asleep when he left. It's not like he'd be sorely missed. Right now, however, he had no interest in food. Many aromas drifted past his nose. Rabbits, beavers... edibles, if you wish. Among these appetizing smells, however, was the scent of another wolf. A lone one, most likely. If it was a female, he was in luck. Although autumn hadn't come yet, it was well near it, and he could easily start his own pack. The others would be glad to be rid of him. If it was a male, however, that was a different story. Then, there was the horrifying prospect of this scent being something playing tricks on him. Demons... spirits... poltergeists... worse.



Sorry, that was kinda just thrown together. ^^" Yeh, I just slipped him into omega. Sorry, but he just wouldn't fit into any other rank. :/ :D

I completely just forgot about this thread. Oops.

Mmkay. I've decided to restart this role-play. Anyone who sent an in-game request to ~Natsu no Ookami~ will be accepted (if they're still active), and I'll also be redoing the map.

Oh, and one more thing, female Beta position is now open, since our last beta is no longer on FH.

A shudder passed through the tan male's body. His brown eyes stared upwards at the large wolf in front of him. Black lips rose, teeth clicked the air, and fur flew. With a loud yelp, Natsume dashed away with his tail tucked between his legs, he could feel the burn of his cheek as fur was yanked by teeth, and out the corner of his eye, he saw a tuft of it fly away. Fear bubbled in his chest as he felt the hot breath of his pursuer on his tail, and his eyes reeled back into his head as fear and panic took over.

Memories flooded his sight. That male...He was of monstrous size, and Natsume knew he couldn't fend for himself. He had run into the large male when he'd found a nice, lovely and fresh batch of herbs for the pack. The intruder, obviously either bored or deranged, apparently thought it'd be fun to chase the tiny male known as Natsume to the pack.

A sudden spark of pain broke Natsume's memory-flood as his tail was crunched between jaws, whipping around, the tiny, tan male slapped the intruder with a paw, which was somehow enough to loosen the intruder's grip long enough to yank his tail away. Just as he began to flee again, weight crashed down upon him. He was forced to stare brown-eyes-to-brown-eyes with the heavy intruder. Eyes closed as the intruder's jaws snapped downward at Natsume's throat.

Surprisingly, nothing happened..No, weight lifted from Natsume's chest. A sudden rush of sound pulsed into Natsume's ears. Snarling, yelping, barking. Scrambling to his four, Natsume stood with his bleeding tail tucked between his legs, fur bristling up. Opening his eyes, he saw three warriors of his pack, defending him, saving his life as they fought and chased off the intruder.

Relief flooded over the scrawny male as the warriors effortlessly won the battle.

RP Sample: Secrecy sprinted through the forest, dodging trees and jumping logs, leaving a dust trail fading behind her. She opened her jaws wide, showing pearly fangs. Her eyes were set on her target: a tan hare. She leapt to get closer to the large rodent and dug her teeth into its back, slowing it and pulling it to the floor. Blood began to form over her teeth and dripped down the hare's back. The long-eared rodent lay stark dead, its body motionless and covered with a thick ooze of blood. The almost-black wolf, panting for breath, grabbed the hare between her jaws again and padded off, the chirp of birds and the rustle of the occasional fox faded away, caves and rocks coming closer to her. Secrecy slumped down under a leaning rock, and pulled away at her catch. The sun began to set over the horizon and the fae, full and exhausted, drifted off to sleep.
