Post by: WarriorWolves399 on October 13, 2012, 01:50:58 am: I was in Ficho Tunnel today and I realized there is a fight wolf and fight dog arena run by certain ranks such as master, legend, and lead
There seems to be a certain rock that is only for ranks master and above to sit upon. I watched some of the fights that kind of rp gets really intense. I made a fight wolf and became a master, but it is always so laggy in Ficho Tunnel now because of these arena popping up eveywhere. I would like peoples opinion on this new rp so please give me your opinions.

I have often seen these in Ficho as well, seeing as I've stopped RP'ing for some odd reason, I choose not to approach. I believe they've been around for a good while as well.

Perhaps it's the whole "arena" deal which attract them there. Like old Rome and their Gladiators.. Who knows..

I am fine (and sometimes enjoy) making combat characters in tabletop RPGs, where combat is likely anyway, but in a Freeform I always get nervous that I am going to be too aggressive or not aggressive enough. That's my feeling. Might watch a few though.

I kinda agree, I just don't enjoy the fact that some people become very aggressive over this and they think they are the best fighter (at least in cases i've seen)
As long as it's a friendly battle and a rp they're a little fun to watch, as long as they don't say things like "bites and kills him".

They've stopped bothering me, guess it's just grown as something common now. It is, indeed, amusing to watch literate events when they happen, at least to me. This RP can get on my nerves sometimes though, when harassment happens between users...

I liked to RP with them every now and then because I could practise my RP combat which wasn't very good before, and because there were some genuinely nice people there that I could talk to.
Nowadays, there's more powerplaying illiterate people which has driven me out of the fightwolf craze. And I get the feeling that these people either want to practise or are just violent people who like violent RPs.

-Don't abuse the ranks

So there it is. I fight because it is fun and it let's me release anger without hurting someone irl. And Feral Heart in general get me away from the real world of being depressed. I also am semi-violent so.......yeah.

"let's me release anger without hurting someone irl" Do you play GTA ? :B it's a "good" game to release anger... god of war too I like these 2 x3 but they're +18 e_e

I think there are the regulars, and the people who just show up to fight. The ones who started the group will tell anyone they do not "fight" to kill, they only do it for fun, and whenever I am there that is all we do if we aren't sitting around rambling to each other. The group has been around for a looong time. I encourage anyone to join us one day! :) Just come on over, everyone is welcoming and nice. As far as the power players you talk about, most of the time they are ignored, if not made fun of. They make themselves look ridiculous. The ones that claim to be the best and get violent are not usually apart of the fights, unless someone just feels like showing them up 'cause to be honest most of them are horrible at RPing. lol

Besides the fact that they all have some sort of obsession with ripping each others ears off. :B

Post by: greystar on October 27, 2012, 10:36:56 pm: I just know its mostly illegal in US and I'm not happy with fight wolves or dogs because of it....I'm friends with some of them only as long as they do it in a responsible manner, in which case they know its illegal and animal abuse in my part, and they don't joke about it to me.

Post by: FighterWolf399 on November 08, 2012, 10:51:51 pm: I have fight wolf and we have different ranks and rules lik no godmodding, be literate if you fight with the pros in the south arena, no powerplay, no dodging you must take the attack, and no breaking bones. I am a respected fighter there if you are interested in joining our role play whisper FighterWolf399 in-game or pm me on the forum. The whole aggressive thing I can teach you all tht I know. (no offence fight wolve's) as i see one of the worst fight wolf pack is the BloodRidgeWolves. im not sure if there still active but they seem meanest. i think if there going to act that way, the fight wolves should make a map aand use that ONLY

I don't know which wolves you've been hanging out with, but the ones I was with for a while weren't hurting pups or using such language. We had rules, and contrary to what some people said, we weren't nasty violent people with no sense of morals. As I stated before, I only did it to hone my RP fighting skills, but recently I've stopped using my Fightwolf char.
