I've been playing for around 3 years. Feralheart basically made me who I am today, Will it ever end though?

Everything has an end.
This game has been through the think and thin for more than 4 years. I believe the only thing that can possibly end the game's run is when the server master, Raz, runs out of resources to keep the server up.

Feral Heart will end one day, but that day is not soon. Like any online game, it'll go offline for good and we'll all meet up somewhere else.
I just hope the gang keeps in contact with eachother. :)

If All Fails And Raz (the server master) Does End Up Not Having The Resources To Keep It Alive...
There Could Be A New Server Master Coming, Raz May Know And Train A Friend, Or When The Time Is Rough And The Admin's Decide To Keep The Server Up And Advertise For A Server Master, Im Sure Atleast 10+ People Will Offer :)

I would hate if FeralHeart ever ended! FH has been my favourite online game, for like, a year now. FH is awesome because it lets you connect with your friends, and also it allows you to visually RP - and I love RPing, ever since I got into gaming Role play has took up so much time! I spend up to 4 hours every day when I am free into FH, and I love managing my groups and making maps - (Making maps also, takes up so much of my freetimeXD) Without FH, I would probably be sooo bored. I don't play many other games, except for Zoo Tycoon and occasionally Transformice, which are the opposite of what FH is.
If FH ever ended, I would try and catch up with my close friends on another game. But I doubt FH will ever end soon due to all the loyal members and what a big community we are. ;)

Nah, it will never end. Like wolfquest, it opened since 2008..FH was open like 2011? Nah, I don't doubt it. XD

I feel like the community will die off sooner or later, as bigger and better games come out of production; such as Primitive Call, and possibly in the future Aro'kai. Although newer players still will probably linger in FH but sooner or later the majority of people I believe will migrate to these better games.

If Raz runs out of resources to keep the server up... maybe FeralHeart will shut down.
As for now, our FeralHeart world is not going to end.

It honestly depends. We can never say when it will end or if it will. Things happen, and all we can do is ride this roller-coaster and wait to see what will happen in the future.

If it ends, then maybe a new game will replace it. Just like Impressive Title. It was closed, then replaced by this very FeralHeart. However, when it closes, I will cry my eyes out until the FeralHeart replacement comes out.

Club Penguin's still up and strong since 2005, but it IS funded by Disney, and has much more players on it contributing.

I've got to agree entirely with you, @ S-H-A-Y. If Feralheart ever did 'die off' I think the result would be somewhat the same of how everyone left IT and came to FH instead. We'd find another game - or maybe some of our more talented members would make a new one - and we'd stick together, just like we did way back when.

The thought saddens me since I have friends on this game whom I don't know how to contact outside of the game, but perhaps if I convince the rest to be on deviantART, like some already are, then we could let eachother know about stuff.
I like this game, though. It really sticks to me, since it seems so simple and out of that I can really express a lot of my creativity. Through maps, for example, or presets. Even characters without presets I feel like I'm expressing it. And boy am I a creativity-addict. |D
If it ends, I can just hope Raz will let us know, give us time to "pack up and leave" so to speak? Although I can easily doubt it won't end for a while. FeralHeart is not the most popular game but it's certainly loved by many who play it. But all good things must go, as others have worded here I've noticed.
And I think the source code might be put up when it's shut down, too, so maybe we could scramble over to that and make our own game as well? But we'll see how it goes, I guess, since it really depends on Kovu himself for that decision...

So far I doubt KovuLKD will put up the source code ever really, otherwise he would've already done so since this game has been out for years.
As for the game itself, I feel a bit saddened as to what I "knew" of this game and what it is today. I remember coming on and seeing over 600 people at one time everyday. The least amount of people was 300 at hours like 6am EST time. So needless to say I am well, a bit saddened by this. I came on multiple times and have only seen a little over 100 members and it just well, shocks me.
I'm not sure if anyone wants a idea of how good it was back then in 2013 or earlier but well, it was constant people at least. All the dens were filled and you could always find people to rp with no matter what time of day.
What was even better though was that all the map was in use and there were people in every cave or den. Plus general chat made it easier to communicate and post to get people for groups and what not. But alas, the good ol' days are at a end I think unless they open up registration and finally get enough members to make it like that once more.

it is very sad. ive had this game for two years. i stopped playing for one, but i came back to check things out, and its honestly upsetting to see the game losing members. the truth it, i dont believe registration is a part of it, i think its because people are simply getting bored with it. people grow out of it. people have school. its sad but its true

I hate how the population's going down. Maybe they were quitting because General chat was shut down. We can blame the shutdown of General on some bigots. FH also made me into the person I am today.

Everything moves forward and if you get stuck in the past, then you too shall pass as everyone and everything else sweeps you down in a tidal wave that always moves forth. To stop moving is stagnation and time never stops; it moves forth.
All that to say that yes, everything ends and FeralHeart as we know it right now will end someday.

Hueh, in all honesty, I do not think the "soul" of this game will die. Surely enough, the community would move on t'gether if this game were to shut down. With the current staff, however, I do not see this game ending anytime soon. I truly believe that the community has turned out f'er the better. Yes, we 'ave lost a great deal of good members, but 'ave ye noticed that almost all the trolls 'ave disappeared?
Now, I be not saying all the ones who left were said trolls, but the people left here with us, as ye can see, are indeed loyal to the community and would lend a hand to anyone in need. 'Tis true that we lost a great deal of fantabulous floofs along the way, and they shall be missed most dearly. I am most positive that if the game were to sadly close, we would all migrate to a new game to enjoy each other's company. Do note that there are a plethora of IT servers still running if worst came to us.

I don't know if it will end I can't read the future but lets now worry about the future and just enjoy the game while we still can.
